"Yeah, I think I sprained my feel bads," replies Heath, answering the commanding presence of Warren without looking away from the alley. "And I'd like to help, but we're going to have a whole lot more feel bads if we jump in that fire. We gotta find a fire extinguisher or a fire hose, or a fire escape or something."

Once the spiders came into sight Heath couldn't help but take a step back reflexively. This was starting to have the look of a bad B movie, though in this case the effects were looking pretty convincing. "Look, fellas, I think you've got the wrong place. Miss Tuffet lives three blocks east from here," calls the Minstrel to the approaching arachnids. He then glances helplessly to Mary, "Do we have any curds and whey we can throw at them? Or maybe running? Running is good."

Marcus looks at Mary as he starts to move toward the alley.

"We should put them back where they belong."

Hearing Heath's reply, the elemental gives the unfamiliar fairest a sharp look. There is no judgement in the summer courtier's face, but his expression is similar to the look one might give a small child that might possibly wet itself if it becomes too excited.

"But, if you can't fight, you should run."

Since the other changelings present do not appear to react one way or the other, Marcus ignores them for the moment, resigned to the possibility that he will probably receive no help from them.

Hearing what everyone is saying Leon moves up to stand by Marcus, if there was one thing he knew it was fighting and if it meant that other people could get away then he had to do his bit.

"Im with you" He said glancing to Marcus, he didnt know the guy but in situations like this he didn't need to. With a clech of his fist his knuckels gave a satisfying crack. Giving a glance over to Lavish Leon didnt know if his friend would stick around or head off with the others.

looking back towards their new arachnid friends, Leon's tail twich a moment as he noticed just how grusome the spiders were. "Got any plan?"

Adam's eyes widened again looking at the spider..creatures coming towards him. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist until his knuckles were white.
He dropped the snow-globe, he had to, he wasn't a stranger to alien creatures. His durance had seen to that.
And he knew he had to pull out all the stops. He brought up his clawed hands, ready.
Remember, he thought, Wait till they move, don't rush, hit wea-
..
Where the hell was the weak point on that thing.

He swore, loudly.

Marcus anticipates a fight as he watches the grotesque spiders emerge from the alley. That's okay, he's ready. Glancing around for any other bystanders, he takes in the number of allies that stand with him.

Harvester does things.

Initiative 13

As the group struggle to get a grasp on what is going on, the Hedge-tarantulas split off in various different directions, still chittering away. However, one continues onwards towards the group.
"F-F-Firrree" It screechs in a raspy, inhuman voice, its mandibles twitching away as it spoke. "F-F-Feeaarr."

Its many eyes swiveled around, each one locking onto a different member of the group, who stood ready and opposing to fight. It rears its arms in anticipation of a fight, before suddenly turning on its hind legs and racing its way over the top of Marcus, inches above his head, off in the direction of what was once the hotel. As it leaves, however, its rear end sprays large hairs at the group. The hairs strike all of the group, sticking in before shrivelling up.

Please roll Sta + Resolve - 2 for toxicity

Marcus takes 4 bashing, Heath Mary and Warren take 2 bashing, and Adam and Leon take 1 bashing from hairs

The Devil, as they say, is in the details. Warren Locke knows nothing of gods or devils, but he does know detail.

Especially when there are important ones that he has missed.

Blindly focused on one facet of the situation rather than the big picture, he also misses the giant spiders until they are singled out by the rest of the group. At any other time, he might have considered a chuckle at the jester. Who certainly had not sprained his mouth.

But this time, he is too slow, and pays the price of the unaware. Large green hands raise belatedly to shield himself, and to no avail.

This is how you end? Covered in hairy spider shite? Very impressive.

Fists clinch to prepare for retaliation.

"Do not let them away," the Ogre coughs.
