'I wonder if she has a permit for that.' He mused to himself. At least he found it amusing instead of making a big deal about it.

"I hope there's a healer here. I'm not knowledgeable enough in the life arcanum yet to heal other people." He did seem genuinely concerned. He knew all too well how dangerous these blades could be, and how ruthless Arrow training sessions could get.

Actions and stuff

Since Vae won the initiative she goes first, obviously. Though Leo has quick draw, it states in the merit I can only draw as part of an attack, so for now he's unarmed. If there's time he says the qoute above, if not please delete it.

Now that we're going into combat rounds, I'm going to Evoke the 3-5 word rule. As each turn is 3 seconds.

Vaeltia let out a sound of derisions. There had been a reason for the ‘bring your own bandages’ part of the sign. But the smirk was still there as she lunged, placing the blade she held into Leo’s shoulder. “Shoulda hit first.” she growled before pulling the blade out and shifting away quickly.

Sorry. Sig trouble. Defense and Health should under "Leo". No spells=no armor.

Leo lets out a grunt as the blade pierces his flesh. Once the blade was withdrawn, Leo's grimace changed to small smile. It had seemed like forever since he had a proper fight. Today he would have one.

With one fluid motion, he draws the knife at his side with his left hand and slices Vae across the chest...

...but the cut was rather shallow. Vae obviously knew how to defend herself, no big surprise considering her order.

She felt the blade cross her upper chest.

It was just like a man to strike for the shirt strings, even in arrow to arrow combat. And to be fully honest, Vaeltia honestly didn’t find that fair at all.

She could feel the slight wetness of the blood, but was generally ignoring the pain of the slice. Spending time with West did have perks of a sort.

She set her hand, and in a flash she had produced a glock and let the plastic gun roar at him.

A sudden sound in a nearly quiet gym.

She had brought a Gun to a knife fight.

Though the shot wasn't as brutal as it could have been, it still surprised him. Where was she keeping all this stuff?

His eyes never wander from the gun now trained on him, and he reaches out to grab the hand that fired it. He was too slow.

Her eyes were burning a cold fire. It was sad that the gun had worked exactly how she thought it would. It was something to say for the distractibility. That would have to be addressed at some point.

But it was a surprise that he had reached for it.

As his hand approached she flicked the blade in her had across his skin, drawing an equal line along the arm that he had drawn across her chest.

In the same motion she returned the gun to her lower back.

It would seem the gun disrupted Leo's focus more then he thought. He pulled his hand back and swung once again with his own knife, narrowly missing the arm that cut him. His eyes now shifted between her two hands, wondering if it would be a bullet or the knife that came for him next.

Vaeltia didn’t move, it was like she wasn’t intending to attack him in the first place, instead her eyes were darting around his pattern.

She felt the mana leaving her, given willingly to ease the transition of something that wasn’t exactly a hidden spell. It broke the rules of the circle, but sometimes that’s how it has to be.

It was the projection of force, a simple Telekinetic punch to the face. It wasn’t meant to be completely damaging, just meant to make a point.

The spell that just punched Leo in the face sent a clear message, magic allowed. As he assumed a more aggressive stance, he waited for his go to defense spell to take effect. Too bad for him it didn't. He wasn't sure if he missed something or if the stress of this poor showing was sinking in. Either way he knew this would not end well for him.
