From Halo's point of view this was a bat-shit insane way to train, but hey, if they wanted to play hard he was going to give it right back. He was probably going to be in a world of hurt as soon as Vae finished doing whatever she was doing. However, Leo had just pulled a knife on his Epopt, so that's where his attention was focused.

In one smooth motion, guided by the ease of long practice Halo drew his pistol.

By aiming to avoid accidentally hitting Ariadne, Halo's shot went ever so slightly wide.

It was one thing to know that she was standing in the middle of a fight that probably took a step in an entirely different direction than it should have but when the fucking rainbow exploded around her.

The wash of the fire and the crash of each explosion as the sparks rained down around her.

It was like being inside photoshop during the digital editing for light-sabers. But it tasted sticky-sweet. Considering the simple and fairly obvious appearance of the Skittle-works she wrapped another protection around her.

As she tried to segment her mind to deal with the sudden sensory input.

Animus watches the two injured Arrows ( AethrDav , Weavebreaker ) begin to stir, forcing an expression more neutral than he felt. The healing hadn't been much, but if the fight was any indication, they both could stand practice functioning while in pain. "Tell me. What was the purpose of that exercise?"

Weavebreaker began to stir, though her first thoughts were wrought with pain.

Wh...Wha...What happened...

Weavebreaker gritted her teeth as she rolled over onto her back. Her throat stung something fierce, and she had inadvertently put pressure on her arm that Animus had clawed up. She drew in a deep breath and laid there, staring at the ceiling, trying to desperately cope.

Weavebreaker was not one to cry over pain, and she did surprisingly well by holding back a torrent of cuss words. All she could do was lay their and try to gather better control.

Aegis' chest lurched as his lung began filling normally, taking a few rasping gasps, coughing up bloody sputum between each one. Rolling over, he was on his hands and knees, and as he caught his breath slowly rose to his feet. The damage to his lung may have been undone, but he still felt the pull of ragged gashes across his chest, and the sheets of pain spread red across his vision.

"Hesitation, Banner Warden. Potential energy is only useful if it's released to serve a purpose." That's one thing I'm taking away from this, he thought. Had he been prepared, he could have leaped in more readily. He also, admittedly with a little ire, felt like if Weavebreaker hadn't hesitated he wouldn't be here flayed from shoulder to shoulder.

Leo's lunge gets Ariadne's full complete attention. Vaeltia seems to be experiencing the world as Ariadne had willed it. Leaving the red head with a naughty boy who had lunged at her with a knife. Good thing she's not wearing anything she likes.

Pulling together her will, she doesn't have the heart to truly hurt a fellow Pentacle. Calling upon the least of the pains of Pandemonium she throws it at the fallen mage Xander
