Allison always stared at the floor numbers changing as the elevator carried her briskly up to her room. It had been a normal night for Allison, filled with liquor, music, and fun. With the sun coming up in a couple hours it was time to wind down and relax with a hot bubble-bath. With a ding, the doors slid open and Allison stepped off, fishing out her key-card for her hotel room.
Allison approached the electronic lock to swipe her card and felt panic rise sharply as she pushed vitae into her muscles...
The door...
It's unlocked...
The fear of what lay in wait within her room paralyzed her. Allison if what had happened in Miami had caught up with her, but she remembered her visit back home and how everything seemed forgotten. If they wanted revenge they would have gotten it when I was there...
Allison let out a deep breath as she reached up hesitantly to push open the door. She found herself holding her breath, as the door swung open. Allison stood out in the hotel hallway, looking through the threshold into her room. It seemed empty, but her thoughts raced to places where someone could hide.
Bathroom...
Closet...
Oh God...under the bed...
Allison clenched her fists for a moment, gathering up the nerve to enter. Exhaling softly, she took the first step as she timidly surveyed her surroundings. The door to the bathroom was wide open, and it was obvious that no one was lurking within, and this drew Allison's focus to the closet and the bed. It was then that she saw it, a single sheet of paper resting on the foot of her bed. It was enough of an oddity that cause Allison to quirk a brow.
Allison cautiously approached, forgoing worry about what may be laying in wait within her closet or hiding beneath her bed. It was a hand written letter with a business card printed. The card was the first thing that caught her attention...
6523 Sunset Blvd.
Los Angeles CA
Allison's eyes moved from the card to the paper, that was mostly blank...
Paper
Allison glanced around the room, though for some reason she no longer felt like there was a ambush laying in wait. Still Allison could not help but check the closet and beneath the bed, after a slight work up of courage, of course. After she was satisfied that there was no one hiding, she closed, locked, and chained up her door. Allison did not know what to make of it all, but she recognized the writing...
She had gotten a similar letter in Miami...
