As 'Big' Lou makes the jump he too falls several feet short of the bank, resulting in a large splash that covers his companions with murky water. The single eye visible through the door widens in what appears to be amusement, though it seems focused on Jezebel as she shouts out demands.
"Eh? What's that?" the voice booms from within. After a moments pause it continues with a note of amusement. "Oh! You must be those Summer washouts I was told'd be on my trail. The ones that warrior King sent in here hopin' I'd take out his trash for him, huh? Well I rigged up a lil surprise for y'all. Tell ol' Spartan I say to get find somewhere else to toss his refuse. The Hedge ain't his personal dumpin' ground!"
As he finishes speaking there is a tremendous *THUMP* and half a moment later water flies up from the stream as a noxious cloud of some sort of swampy gas erupts up around the group. It rapidly spreads to envelop both banks and the Lost start hacking and coughing from the absolutely atrocious smell.
"Like that?" the troll says with open amusement now. "That's essence of Brumebulb. Enjoy your trip!"
With that an odd sensation begins in each of the Lost's stomachs, like a fishing line starting to tug from the inside. Moments later the air begins to clear and bright sun is shining down on the group. While most of the group is still fighting the effects of the gas, they can quickly determine that they're not in the Hedge anymore, but in Capitol Park in Sacramento where the hunt first began. They will also quickly realize one of their number is missing. Jezebel is no where to be seen. Maybe her mask prevented her from being affected by the gas like everyone else?
Roll Resolve + Composure to avoid puking due to the effects of the weaponized goblin fruit. Those who fail and vomit take 2 points of bashing damage from the sheer violence of the act.
