Interrogation Time!

The Reeve leans against a wall, passing a throwing knife between his fingers as he waits. He pays no notice that he is actually doing it. He is not looking at his hand or looking at anything at all for that matter. He just stands and waits.

As for his prisoners. Conner allowed Madison to feed only the smallest amount in order to keep her from frenzy and concious. The man did not seem to mind as the kiss took him. Conner had zero fear that he could handle this situation. But there was one skill he did not have, so he continues to wait for the Seneschal to arrive.

Madison still looks as though she doesn't expect to survive the night. As for the mortal, he looks perhaps a bit more hopeful. If only because he doesn't grasp the true depth of the world he finds himself sitting in.

"We have to be out of here in a few hours," Madison says quietly, staring at the wall. "The webcams come back on."

It's funny how, even when you're certain of your own demise, you still reflexively grant consideration to things like the Masquerade.

After leaving the Avalon, Ariana arrived at the scene. Hopefully it was not like another night where she received a message and the night was ominous. She was not entirely sure what she was getting into. But she was here at the Reeve's request.

The copper haired Ventrue walked up to the dog place looking for Conner.

She also saw another call come through, but did not dare get caught up in a phone call at the moment. The Lordess did not know what she was walking into as of yet.

Madison and her mortal coworker sit in contemplative silence, either having nothing to offer yet, or fearing to.

Ariana will have no resistance in her short trek around the large building; all of the dogs have wandered away in disinterest. The power of Madison's call has broken. The only obvious clue to any altercation is the slashed and stabbed carcus of a large hound lying in a pool of its own blood by the rear corner of the building.

Ariana walked to the backdoor at the behest of the Reeve. Her eyes did see all the carnage left around the back as well as the blood. The Ventrue's beast only ruffled around slightly as it craved a taste for more than mere animals.

When she arrived to the door, Ariana stepped in and saw Conner standing there. Unsure of what she had been needed for she looked ready to assist. She glanced to Madison and the other person before returning her gaze to Conner. The Lordess did not like Madison when she first arrived, and could only guess this would further her dislike.

"Thank you for joining me Ms. Donovan." Conner stated. "First, If you would not mind, I need this gentleman to clean up the mess outside, and never speak to anyone about this event. Moving out of Sacramento would also be a good idea, after putting in his notice of course. I would hate for these animals to be left alone."

To be honest, Conner could care less for these animals, but if he left them uncared for it would give Madison yet another reason to hate him. "Miss Carothers, it would be in all of our interest for you to make sure those webcams do not come on..."

"Of course Mr. Greyson." Ariana said quickly while she listened to to what was needed this evening. Her cobalt blue eyes were a thing of beauty, but also had a talent within them. She watched the mortal for a moment, making sure he had contact with her eyes. In her sites, despite the situation Ariana's face held pleasant to draw him in further.

"Clean up mess outside then return to me." The Lordess stated simply to the man who would soon be leaving. One thing at a time.
