Joseph sits using his laptop at a Starbucks that was still open. Searching the internet for anything weird that has been going on in Sacramento in the past couple weeks. He knew of the Lost Nights but was content to leave that to the higher ups and do some grunt work for the Ordo. Maybe earn some praise and a way to another coil. Yes some grunt work would do good and maybe help him advance in the city. ~Shit need to contact Olivette as well...~
He looks down at his laptop and tries to ignore the blood pulsing around him in the various bodies present.
After half an hour of searching and finding nothing useful he pulls out his cellphone. ~might as well call her....~ He calls the number for the Prince's helper.
While he waits for the call to be answered, Joseph continues to check out web pages, and notices a headline from one of the area papers, dated three days ago:

Second Time In Two Weeks
The story relates how a concerned citizen out walking his dog on the walking paths along the Americann River, across from Goethe Park, called police stating he'd seen what appeared to be a body floating in the river but had lost sight of it. Searchers found no body. The story also mentions that a similar report had been made by two teenagers two weeks earlier at a location about a mile downstream from the most recent report, and that on that occasion searchers also failed to locate a body.
Pulling up Google Maps, Joseph finds the most recent of the two incidents occurred about two miles from where he's at right now. The walking trail from which the body was allegedly seen runs alongside the west side of the American river. The trail is near a middle- to upper-class residential neighborhood, though isolated from the residences by a thick band of trees.
Joseph favorites the sites that have information on the weird event and then shuts off his computer as he's talking with Olivette. Once their conversation is over he leaves the coffee shop to go back to his haven for a change of clothes.
Joseph finds a mention of the earlier report, very similar to this one - some people walking the trails at night noticed what looked like a body floating in the river and called the police, but no body could be found when the authorities arrived.
He is able to get to his haven and change without incident.
