As wolves move to surround them, and Animus growling like Doctor Dolittle, Tug shrugs his shoulders. "Let's just feed 'em, right, boss?" he asks, then reaches into the Wilds to provide sustenance for the one growling back at the Hierarch, and the closest one to them. "You too, Bruce." Though they really should put them down- who knew what this pack would do to the citizens of Sacramento if they let them go? But they weren't the highest priority right now. What he was really interested to learn was that they made it out without triggering any explosions; it gave the Sentinel hope that they could do the same.

The wolves joyfully grab the food, devouring it whole.

Mike watches the wolves eat and he lowers his arms. He sounds somewhat disappointed.
'Now what? You're gonna bring them back to the woods? It would be irresponsible to leave them roaming the city. Perhaps they can go in the Circle first?'
Okay, Mike actually loves dogs and other canidae, but he was so far prepared for a fight that this pretty wise solution makes him feel lost.

As the wolves jump toward Tug's provisions, Animus finally breaks eye contact, giving his fellow Thyrsus a thankful smile. In an instant, he glances toward a nearby clump of grass, shifting, drawing it to become something more. A mournful wolf's howl echoes through the group, and a moment later a stag stands where the grass had been. 'Food.'
Uplifting the species, dox soaked as backlash
Finally, the Thyrsus turns toward his fellow Arrows, the glint of the animal behind his ees slowly fading. His first words come haltingly, as if only slowl shifting gears. "They're innocents, caught up in something far worse than they could imagine. But I think they'll be willing to help us, now."

West was tempted to look around for the camera crews for Madagascar 3: Urban Jungle.
While the animal shenanigans continued, he daydreamed about Joshua turning his car into a grill and Animus turning grass into steaks.

Sam watches the wolves then, seeing that they aren't going to be touching them, gently steps over the trip wire. He moves into the church, looking every way he can, watching. Every now and again he mutters under his breath and moves to the side.

Slowly Animus begins to relax, a shiver of reaction running through him at the release of the pent-up emotion. Eyes survey the wolves with a touch of longing before flicking to his own paws. They never needed fear being judged for what they were. How many truely understood the impulses that guided him? But more pressing -- a pointed glance toward the tripwire. 'Danger. Trap. Do not touch, or Hunter-of-All wakes.'
Carefully stepping over the tripwire himself, he quickly catches up with Sam. "Hey, we should let Josh ( Jmiland1 ) have point. He has a better sense of what they've set up here."

West's voice went from casual to an Army voice of command in a hot second as people began walking away from the pack of animals.
He gestured with his pistol at the feeding wolves.
"What are you planning on doing with them?" he asked Animus, and slowly looking around at the rest of the city.
