Katrina left Ariana's office and headed straight for the exit. Court was ending soon and Katrina wanted to take a nice walk home without being caught in the sunlight. Hopefully the Keeper might be able to provide another lead. However Katrina did had a starting point, somewhere she could ask questions.
Jacqui had been staring through the notes left of the Domains and Regents of Sacramento, wide eyed and staring. It seems she was searching for something.
She found it. A smile crossed her face, and based on the very public conversation she had had with Herald Villiers earlier, the clever would infer she'd found her Haven, and was pleased with the results.
Herald Villiers had offered advice that Harpy Donovan or Reeve Herr Heinz could offer... something. Focus. She needed focus, goal, presence, prestige. Something to distract the incessant dread buzzing in her head. No, best not to think on that. She pushed it from her mind, as she had been doing constantly for the past hours.
That would wait though. The sun would come soon, and she had need to make sure her Haven would stand its harsh light. Court would soon be over and Herald Villiers was escorting those out with graceful goodbyes.
It'd be best not to overstay her welcome. She'd been escorted out of one Domain earlier today already.
Harpy Donovan and Herr Heinz would surely be there at the next court. As would Jacqui, and so she made her way to the door.
With a curtsey, starting by lifting the edges of her dress that was edgeless on one side and instead quickly placing her left hand behind her back, she stated
"With pleasure, but little time, I greet those present. Forgive my late arrival, and I look forward to your acquaintance in coming nights."
Jacqui exits court if none stop her.

Dillon's wave is mimiced by Martha, not from mockery, but rather to show goodwill.
Martha seems to be happy to have Dillon at her side as she waves a good night to the Kindred as they leave. She returns Jacqui's curtsey with a smile and respectful nod of the head...and seems fascinated by the asymmetric ruby dress...her eyes following Jacqui and her daring shorts up The Stairs for a moment before turning her attentions fully back to Dillon. All smiles, her tone is gleeful, her volume of speech moderated, if eager. "I am pleased to meet you too, Mr Connery! I do hope you are well, sir! I should hope we get a chance to talk in greater depth tomorrow evening...if you arrive at my chambers here..." she briefly and carefully gestures to the room with her cane, "...as promptly as you can after sundown, we can talk at greater leisure and investigate your possible Acknowledgement! I do hope that sounds a satisfactory plan, sir. The questions we might have for each other may occupy more time than we have at present, and I should so hate to have to rush too much." she smiles, leans on her cane watching the oddly boyish Dillon with wide eyes.

Dillon follows suit alongside Martha with the nodding and smiling to others, as well as watching Jacqui ascend the stairs. Wait... bad Dillon! Bad!
His lopsided grin reappears, showing his approval for the proposed arrangement before he says it. "Good! Great, actually. For now, Herald Villiers, let me shamelessly flatter you by saying how nice it is to find such a pleasant Official in this Domain. You seem perfectly suited to your position." He finishes the sentence with absolute sincerity, revealing that the word 'flattery' was merely a device to keep things lighthearted. He meant what he'd said.
Dillon had at the last moment stumbled upon the very person he needed to see. He is confident that after they can exchange some information, she'll be able to put him in touch with, or point him in the right direction of, the correct individuals. The Sheriff, er... Reeve as the Elysia Announcement had said, Hound, Priscus, the local Bishop, Priest, or Inquisitor... The list piled up in Dillon's mind, but it actually encourages him. There was no need to hurry.
The uplift is obvious in his bearing, and his good humor becomes just a bit more infectious.
