Moon is new
Tony walks the border of his territory, checking to make sure that no trespassers have crossed. He looks the model of a cop on the beat, save no badge or uniform.
Matthew, after paying his respects at Taylor's grave site, continues south in Urhan, keeping to shadows to stay out of sight of the few humans up this late. He continues on to the southern border, watching for anything out of place. As he passes Tony, he cocks his head to the side curiously.
Tony stops, and looks around, before not seeing any humans.
"Evening." He says.
Matthew looks around quickly before reverting to Hishu as the halberd appears in his hands. "Evening, Tony. It's been a while."
"How many months ago did we meet here? 2? 3? How is your pack faring?"
Matthew sighs. "Well enough, I suppose. But members are leaving as fast as I can recruit them. It's a bit discouraging."
"I sort of know what you mean. We had one member a while back who joined up, then got kidnapped and eaten by a lune. Its hard to loose family."
A look of surprise crosses Matthew's face. "By a lune? Why would they attack one of us?"
"Bale Hound Bastard got to her. Did something to her, drove her beyond reasons, mader her gluttenous, but unable to maintain her form."
Matthew shivers, a memory rising, unbidden, to the surface of his consciousness: himself lost to Kuruth, eating human flesh. The thought is accompanied by a wave of anger, at the werewolf that would twist a lune into a similar condition, permanently. When he speaks, a hint of a growl seeps into his voice. "And what happened to this bale hound?"
