Christian feels the other wolf's teeth sink down into the back of his neck and shake him hard, before all is darkness.

Christian shifts back into Hishu, naked, shot up and bit all to hell. It's been one hell of a night, that's for sure.

Casey had heard the howl on the way home from work. It had come from the other side of the river, Pure territory. It didn't sound hateful or agressive. It was joyous.
Matthew's warning was still in his ears. He debated for a long time before deciding to check it out. If anything bad happens I'll run.
He noticed the commotion on the bridge a block away and broke into a run arriving on the scene of confusion. He didn't know what to make of it, or who was on what side. Two were fighting and another was just standing there watching. Then one of the two went limp and that settled it. He wasn't going to stand around and let his actions or inactions kill someone.
"Hey!" he shouted "Let him go!"

Shadow Tongue 'flies' at the Pure wolf and lashes out,
Shadow Bite Go!
He feels his teeth connect and rips. "Run!" He yells at the pup.
Steve strolls down the road near the outskirts of town when he hears commotion, its to muffled and far to make out but he hears grunts inbewteen words and takes off toward the sounds. As he comes up near the bridge he ducks behind a small tree and watchs for whats been transpireing. He sees two wolfs intwinded in combat, the scent of blood fills the air and a hint of territorial devideing. " This could be what i was her for." He crouchs down and rushs to a bush closer to the action so he can make words out. As he reachs the bush he shifts to his urshul form and sits and waits.

((Shifting into Hishu when unconscious gives me another HL, and I'll spend an Essence to regen another HL. That leaves me with 2 unmarked HLs, so do I need to roll against Death Rage since a "Wound is marked on one of character’s last 3 health boxes"? I think I do, but I'd like to check first.))

Echo slashes at Shadow tongue, scoring a deep gash across shadow tongue's shoulder.
People are screaming, and there is the sound of police sirens in the distance. The cars are stopped, many are slammed into each other. Echo's wound is no longer bleeding.

Okay, there's a line somewhere between "fight back" and "run away". It isn't even that fine when you are cold, naked, bloody, surrounded by the combined chaos of a pair of wolves going at it while there's a twenty car pile up all around you and to top it all off, you can hear the cops coming in the distance.
There's a little voice in his head that is quite unimpressed with all of it and is going, you're gonna get blamed for all of this, Christian.
He does his best to ignore it as he gets to his feet and holyshitthatleghurtslikeamotherfucker he does his best to hobble across the bridge to the south. It stops hurting as much, but it's the difference between walking on flaming jagged rocks or just the jagged rocks on their own.

When he heard the initial howl, Cory had been patrolling the river’s edge, looking for signs of Forsaken, and for a potential camp site. He moved closer to the bridge, thinking the howl came from across the river. By the time he reached the bridge, cars were honking, people were screaming, and police sirens were approaching. His eyes widened when he saw, in the middle of the bridge, two wolves gnashing at each other. Fleeing the brawl, a naked man, bleeding and limping, coming towards Cory’s side of the river.
((Cory is in Hishu form, standing about 6’2”, with broad shoulders and a meaty kind of build. Soft brown hair gives him a mid-America farm boy look, but his stern face shows he is unfazed by the wolf-brawl. He seems more concerned that people are witnessing the fight.))
