Hector paused long enough to inspect his pack.
His pack. Yes, he was going to have to get used to that now.
The inspection was followed by a peculiar 'huff' and shift in his posture as he made clear he wasn't too concerned about which form his Urdaga chose for this run. Then, nose forward, Hector bounded off to the Locus.
The Locus hadn't changed that much - it was still a portion of track - and he was privately pleased they had checked flesh-side already. Any tracks, spoor, or other hints to the Locus' nature would have been obliterated by the rain. Still, he made a point of snuffling around while the others gathered; after all, if he could chance upon a puddle so much the better.
Finding nothing, he looked up, squared his shoulders, and forced his way between worlds.

It was clear enough that on this hunt, Hector was all business.
For reference, I have taken the full -3 penalty for crossing the Gauntlet in a 'Dense Urban' area. Possibly going extreme but I figure
Saber Sloth
will put the rest of you right shortly. My decision was based on the fact the railyards are next to the highly urbanised downtown area, and that the local area is in the process of being heavily developed.
I haven't gone into any details of the area.
Saber Sloth
will let us know if anything was turned up from the previous investigation at the Locus.
