Smiling, “Excellent!” an extra set of eyes and ears would be welcome. And who knows, he might pick up on something before she does or Jesse does.

Chuckling, “I remember a time where there was quite a few more Kindred in the Domain. And there will always be the clash of personalities,” Bea was a prime example, “it’s all about how it is handled before it becomes a big problem. But a slow influx is easier to deal with and we don’t have to stretch ourselves thin getting to know them all.” More faces made taking care of problems easier. Though it usually presented its own problems.

“The difficulty?” she pondered the question for a moment, “It’s hard to really say. There are a lot of factors that come into play. Personality is a huge one, ambitions and age. I've come across young Kindred before who feel they are not only entitled, but know everything there is. And most of them have problems with authority, which doesn't make for a good impression. I don’t believe a Domain with a large population is more difficult to manage and keep safe. It’s about knowing who everyone is and weighing out their risk to Domain safety. Having deputies in place that you trust also goes a long way as well. It’s usually easy to tell who is going to be trouble simply by their first impression and attitude. All about observing people and their behavior. I learned quite a bit about that running the family business.” She was confident in her ability to keep the peace and keep the Domain safe. But she did need to get some more deputies to help.

Seeing Alice break from the new Kindred and rejoin them, Ale dips into a bow.

“Thank you Seneschal Hart, I look forward to meeting her. What was your impression of her if I may ask?” what was it with Gangrels and being Unaligned? Seems most that came through the Domain always were.

Without a word, Bea turned away from the portrait she'd been sightlessly staring at and marched out of Court...

Bea got ashed by Alice in another thread, and so is exiting this scene

With Dominic in a fugue, Asa turned and drifted away.

He'd always thought he was an engaging conversationalist, but apparently not.

Mable glanced around the room at the inhabitants. Her eyes were drawn to the Prince as he disengaged from one of the gentlemen. Then she looked around and found the other gangrel who was speaking with the seneschal. She decided to continue watching and looking at the art in the room because interrupting would be impolite.

[Twist]

Twist glanced sidelong at Vivian York with a devious smile, "Fine. I suppose I will too," she says with faint trace of reluctant child.

As the duo move over to Marvyn Stax, Twist notes the quiet departure of Bea. She had to give the woman credit for getting out while the going was good. Hopefully the attitude remained that way.

But then they were within range of Marvyn and her thoughts turned from the business of Hound to the business of family.

"Good evening. I do hope we aren't intruding but we couldn't pass up an opportunity to meet and talk with you." Twist smiled a dazzling smile toward the man even as her Beast urged her to stain her teeth with his blood.

[Yumyumcrow]

"Ladies..."

The smooth operator turns to the voices as the women approach. The void that was Twist, coupled with Vivian's powerful and uncloaked monster, had the neonate new arrival crashing into a pause. His face wore an unnatural smile while the Man wrestled with his own weak thing.

With a breath that sound a little too much like a huff, he continued:

"Good evening. Marvyn Stax, Librettist of the Unconquered. Pleased to meet you and... No. You are not interrupting. I was simply admiring the artwork here. It is a wonderful collection... Most interesting mix of subjects." He inclined his head toward the single chair and the paintings that flanked it. "Would I be correct in assuming they are Princes of the Domain, past and present?"

It was his opening gambit and a simple enough icebreaker. His focus was more on Twist and Vivian; much less on the artworks.

Smiling back at Alessandra he wondered just how long she had been here. It was hard to tell often, with the whole lack of aging and all that, but clearly quite some time.
It was always interesting to listen to others takes, their stories were useful in effectively weaving one's own. If he ever had to manage others he'd remember her advice, it seemed somewhat universal.

"What do you mean by age?" He hastened to add: "I'm sorry I don't mean to interrogate." It was so easy to fall into the hunger for knowledge, he turned to Alice giving a short bow. "I'd be equally interested in your take if willing to divulge it Seneschal." He smiles passively.

Alice suppressed a sigh, there was a reason why she thought that Maddox was an idiot, and his question just highlighted it in blazing neon colors. Ale'd already explained what she meant by age. "As the Reeve said, some younger kindred assume that because of the Embrace they are better then they once were. That there's nothing more for them to learn, and therefor they are always right. A trap that Elders fall prey to as well. But the adage holds, whether kine, or kindred. With age comes experience, and to kindred, we have a very long time to age."

Turning to Ale's question, "My impression of Miss Wood is that she's...nice." the newest gangrel, seemed to have a positive outlook and a bubbly disposition. Then to warn her Coterie mate so the Italian wouldn't be slapped in the face by the comparison, "She reminded me of Miss Hastings, Brittany."
