"Well you're interesting." Lynn reached out and picked up the small hourglass, holding it up to the light. "I wonder if you've got any secrets?" She glanced over at Ramona with a raised eyebrow. She was certainly not practiced at kenning.

Milo simply watched the situation unfurl. Morgan was the one actually Kenning on the magical items, so when the old man came over he looked to her and stepped aside.
"Anything catching your eye?" He asked with a certain mischief in his eyes. The smile he always wore almost strained under as he looked between the shopkeeper and the Beast, mission objectives and personal matters intermingling into a very uncomfortable state for him.

She shares Lynn's glance, and frowns a little. Well, at least touching the hourglass hadn't had any immediate impacts on Lynn. No booby-trap Contracts or anything, or at least not any fast-acting ones. She gestures for Lynn to hold it out for her, and focuses her attention on... inconsistencies. Logical fallacies. Impossibilities. Any little sign that might differentiate things that are supernatural from the merely mundane.
