Karen claps after both performances. "Bravo!" She grins up at Mariel.

Mairsil Petrov
Mairsil was so entranced staring at the painting that he did not hear the entire Invictus ordeal, Joseph's approach, or his words until "things been with you?" Clearly a delayed reaction to being startled, the Architect jumped slightly.
Things been with you? There are things with me?
Yes, Mairsil, many things. Although it would be surprising if he knew about them.
Indeed it would.
Regathering his composure took a second, and it would have been a perfect mask if not for the sudden mad appearance in his eyes. His Russian accent was thick yet friendly. "There are no things with me tonight other than what I am wearing. That is a strange question though. Are there things with you?"
Dr. Ith Lazarus
What an insolent little girl, I shall have words with her at the Asylum. Perhaps then she will know how to politely and properly use her tongue when correcting a superior.
The Warden watched in silence as Myrah left to speak with another member of the city. The girl had corrected him in the wrong way, and in front of the Reeve; he would not forget this. Making a mental note to chastise her later, Lazarus decided that it would be best to move on for now. The decision couldn't have come sooner, however, because everyone's attention was drawn to some unpleasantness involving the Invictus.
How crude for that kindred to call himself among the Unconquered. And how appropriate for him to be staked and hanged.
The clothes were really getting to Lazarus now; they were far too stiff and hardly broken in. He longed for his lab-coat and wrinkled officewear, they were objects of comfort to the doctor. Dr. Lazarus needed something to take the clothing off his mind. The childish performances did not impress him in the slightest so he looked elsewhere for entertainment. Scanning the crowd, Ith's eyes eventually landed on a young kindred he hadn't seen before -- one against the wall obviously making an attempt to not be approached.
Perfect prey. Was that the beast talking, or perhaps pent up frustration from the incident with Myrah? Lazarus did not seem to care either way as he approached Peter Vedderman.
"You are standing against the wall, are you fearful of your elders?" Lazarus' voice was nothing more than a raspy hiss, but still held the necessary volume and force to be heard; there seemed to be a sort of predatory air to his voice as well that only seemed to accentuate the slowly growing smell of bad medicine.
What? Joseph is taken back momentarily, not sure how things got confused. Is Mairsil older than I thought? Did I use too modern of a phrase? Joseph smiles slightly, though out of nervousness or from Mairsil's odd comment isn't easily readable. "Only myself cousin." He holds his arms out to show this then lets them fall to his sides. "How have the nights been treating you these past few months?"
Once again, Jayant silently cringes at the title. It wasn't that he dislikes titles, on the contrary, he found people with titles worthy of respect, it just so happened that he felt he did not deserve this one.
"I am as well as can be expected, thank you. And yourself?"
As Mariel takes to the stage, Jayant watches her performance purely out of respect and lightly claps at the end, before turning his attention back to Wilhelm.
"My apologies, please continue."
The nights have been well. Tell him this.
"The nights have been well, Mr. Hartman. And yourself?"
"Then please veiw my sketches with an instructor's eye, rather than that of a critic. I am still learning, and even I can see the proportions need work."
Sebastian walks to Mariel, and barring anyone interuppting him, he claps for her and gives her a wink.
"You did very well, I look forward to hearing you sing again, if that is alright that is. Are you enjoying your evening so far?"
Madison claps for Mariel's performance before turning to greet Wade with a smile. "Good evening I am glad to see you could make it. I hope everything is working out for you here."
Ishani claps with enthusiasm for Mariel, the girl had grown quite a bit since Ishani had seen her last in the dream scape. She wondered what made her brave enough to perform this evening. She turns to Asa and gives him a slight elbow nudge. "Do you know when our turn is?"
Rosuto continues to lurk around the artwork, not giving anyone else much in the way of attanetion. She scanned the crowd for Anoud a few time but there were so many other people here it was hard to see past them. She clapped for Mariel, althopugh the song had not stirred anything in her. Not much did anymore so she was sure it was not the singers fault.
Cassandra
Cassandra Clapped as soon as Mariel was done, though it lacked the same sort of enthusiasm it did with Dirge. It wasn't bad nor did it overshadow the last performance, but perhaps she was just biased. Still..>Was good/
Myrah Wells
Myrah was a least a little confused by the song selection by the Daeva, mostly due to its lyrical content. What was she professing? Lost love? Another thing for her to contemplate. She was still waiting for the Doctor to at least explain his strange choice of words to the Reeve, but it appeared to her that he had decided to attend to some other business. He is starting to prove difficult to work with... She though as another though came into her mind.
Why was she over here again? Ugh, and people wonder why I hate distractions...
Moving towards on of the statues Gahiji pauses listening and enjoying the performance, and provides a polite clap when it was over. While his body went through the well rehearsed motions of enjoying a night of performance, his mind wandered over the room making note of faces, interactions and who was around who. This is the information which might save me, knowing who talks to who, and who might be in who's pocket.
His mind wandered into the past quickly, he could hear her voice calling him back to reality, Focus on the task, but don't look like you aren't paying attention to anything else. Who is around the key figures, how are they reacting, watch listen, learn. He shook his head, while it was a good memory she was right he needed to focus on what was at hand, his mind could wander later.
