It wasn't Richards beast that caused him fear when he realized that he may have just welcomed an audience with the devil himself. He chose to remind himself that so far the Kindred of Sacramento have been the most welcoming to him than any others he had ever run across. Surely a domain composed of such civil folk would have to be lead by a Prince with their best interest in mind right? Obviously this domain took it's laws and traditions very seriously, such dedication couldn't be achieved if it's leader was a savage. But even with this in mind Richard can't help but be reminded of the first time he had heard the Prince speak, it was to order the destruction of an admittedly guilty offender.

"There have been many, though of course some more than others. At the time of my arrival Miss. Star was the head of my family. She has been quite helpful. I've also shared company with Madam Sage and Deputy French, i'd say they have both been good to me as well." He answers, being purposely vague. He is rather cautiously navigating this conversation to leave no foul impressions.

"Reeve Wooding," Josephine called, her voice raised, "I require your assistance, if you please."

The Ventrue's cold, black eyes then fell once more upon the outsider who had trifled with her.

Lee Yoon-ji remained unfazed as well. When she saw her deflecting and calling the Reeve the idea of leaving the woman’s head in pike crossed her mind but only briefly. She had done nothing wrong in her book, so there was nothing to be afraid of. Nothing except the Sheriff of course.

Nevertheless the Gangrel crossed her arms and with effort assumed a more neutral stance, definitely non-threatening. Now she had to defuse something she hadn’t started… she actually just wanted to be left alone and be given feeding and living rights in the city. She could even pay a rent! None of that mattered now, instead she focused on the moment waiting for the Reeve to show up eventually, hopefully not from the shadows ready to do what she wanted to do just a few moments ago.

As the Priscus of the Daeva approached, Tracy's beast howled in defiance at the challenge. However, the petite Gangrel managed to keep the animal under control as she offered her fellow Priscus a pleasant smile. "Good evening, Priscus Cordoba," she offered in response to his greeting. "How do you fare this evening?" She figured that there were no new Daeva in town that evening, which was likely why he had approached her. Or maybe he had already gotten all the business out of the way earlier in the evening.

Maybe he just wants to get to know you, she thought to herself. She had only spoken to him briefly on a few different occasions. As far as she could tell, he was a polite member of the First Estate. But she knew nothing more about the man.

After quickly turning away from Ajax, Chris looks at Josephine. He tries to gauge the situation. This woman again, and she's even Priscus now. Does that give her the right to raise her voice and bluntly call to him? It all depends on what's been going on.

'Of course, Priscus Sterling.' He tries not to be distracted by the seal coat, but it's not something one sees every day. However, before he can form an opinion on it, in his mind, he is drawn towards a new Beast. An intimidating Asian woman not far behind the Sanctified Lord. A new arrival causing trouble? 'How may I help?'

"Thank you for your assistance, Reeve Wooding. I apologize for interrupting your conversation, but I felt that it was necessary as certain...airs of hostility have been projected," Josephine explained, "as well as the order of the Domain challenged. This woman, Lee Yoon-Ji, has indicated that she is currently unwilling to identify the nature of her business in the Domain, even after I have identified myself. She has demanded I explain why she should respect the authority of the position granted to me by my clan, and empowered by the Ruler of our Domain, thus undercutting both in a most grievous fashion. Thus challenging the validity of the Domain itself, and all the rules therein. I was hoping you might assist me, Reeve Wooding, in demonstrating why strangers, or anyone else, should not dare to do so. That is, unless Lee Yoon-Ji wishes to make amends for her temerity?"

The growing cluster of Kindred drew Hildegarde's notice.

"This looks interesting," she said quietly, inclining her head.
