She wasn’t used to such a display, bowing yes, but the addition of Most Esteemed was new, this was a form of the submissive she wasn’t used to. But her smile doesn’t falter, she was a Lady and a Keeper after all.

“There is no need to apologize, I enjoy meeting new faces as the come into the Domain.” Her tone still friendly. “Pleased to meet you Mister Levine, welcome to the Domain.”

Her eyes look to the art and she nods, “It is amazing that such formations and sights are above us in the night sky. I’ve always been fascinated by hearing there are more stars in the galaxy than grains of sand on the Earth. Always sounded amazing to me, making you wonder just how large our galaxy is.” She says wistfully.

She laughs lightly, “I didn’t think of it as a tangent, I enjoyed hearing your thoughts.” She replied honestly.

“The night is still relatively early, and there are still many faces to appear. Seneschal Villiers would be the Kindred you are seeking, and I would be honored to introduce you. Until then, perhaps you could do me the pleasure of telling me more about yourself.” She says with genuine interest. Though she could introduce him to his Priscus, but she hadn’t seen Galloway in some time.

Her eyes then take in the giant who waved. As her Beast roars its displeasure of a weaker Beast being so close, she simply pushes it back. A friendly smile and nod were offered to the giant, and she makes a note to talk to him later, interested as to who he was.

Cameron bows his head and smiles "Of course, Lady Au Pair Sage, it would be my pleasure." looking up, he begins "I was barely in my twenties when I was embraced, and that was little more than a decade ago. I'm young by any reckoning. However, I have never let that hold me back. In college I made myself a rich man using innovation and cunning. That drew the attention of my sire, a prominent member of the Invictus in Silicon Valley. I spent these last years under his tutelage, benefiting from his wisdom and experience. My blood is strong for one my age, I know this, and I used my newly gained abilities to expand my wealth and range of influence." These last bits had been spoken proudly, but now he pauses before beginning again - his tone more subdued. "However, my sire was not a patient or prudent man. He took dire offense to even the smallest perceived slight, and was prone toward overreaction. To make a long story short, my sire took on an enemy that he could not hope to destroy and I refused to be myself killed as a result of the foolish man's lack of emotional fortitude. I... chose the winning side." he finishes the tale solemnly, fully knowing that it isn't a pleasant story or one that paints him in a courageous light. "After that I didn't feel comfortable staying where I was. I needed a change of scenery. I've visited the capitol a few times, and I'd always found it charming in the past. I've got a good feeling." He's smiling again now. "Anyway, that's my story. Now what about you, Lady Au Pair Sage? If I may be so bold as to inquire, I would be honored to know more about one as beautiful and esteemed as yourself."

She listens, intrigued by his story. Seemed Kindred having issues with their Sire was more popular than she thought.

“Silicon Valley? Did you attend college for business or computers?” she asked, the mention of Silicon Valley made her lean towards computers, but you never knew. Computer savvy Kindred were always very useful.

“What about hobbies or any other interests?” curiosity marked her voice. “We have a wide mixture of Kindred here, and I would like to be able direct you to like-minded Kindred.” She explained, priding herself on knowing a little about everyone.

“Me?” she says with a smile, not many asked of her past. “I came here about three years ago from Alnwick England. Where I was born and raised. My Sire was not a kind man, and gained many enemies through the centuries. One of those would be his downfall and would lead to his Final Death, which released me.” Being bound to another Kindred was horrible. “His death created a political upheaval, and I choose to leave. Chance brought me here, and it has been one of the most welcoming and stable Domains I have come across.” She says with pride.

“Are there any questions you may have?” she asks. Her intentions were to go over the Laws with him, but never hurt to get to know someone a little better.

"I went to school for computer science, but the classes bored me. That left me a lot of time to work on my own side projects and it was through those that I found my success. I've always had a passion and proficiency for computers and cutting-edge technology of that sort. A passion that has not been cooled by the Embrace. If anything it's reaffirmed it. We live in a world that's constantly wired and plugged in. The inability to be on top of the latest tech might be considered a serious disadvantage in nights to come if these technological trends continue. Many of our Kind are old enough to remember the steam engine, and I find they adapt slowly to technologies which often change by leaps and bounds. Like trying to teach grandma the remote control." He chuckles at his little joke, wondering if Daniella could relate.

"My current favorite hobby is that I'm training a dog. A powerful, intelligent German Shepherd named Molly. She's named for an old girlfriend, who was also a bitch." he laughs again, clearly enjoying the conversation. He seems proud, talking about it "I've always loved animals, my family had dogs and cats, and I've found that my clan is particularly adept at influencing bird and beasts. It's rewarding for both of us, the dog and I, and when I'm through she'll be quite the formidable and unfailingly loyal ally."

"As for my interests, well, at risk of sounding cliche I'd have to say money and power." he chuckles and there is more than a hint of smugness in his smile "It is always in my interest to get more of both, though I am not so foolish as to consider them one and the same. I think I have the first part covered, but the second part - the power part - that's the more difficult goal. I know how that sort of thing works, though, particularly amongst the First Estate, and I'm prepared to work for it using all my skills and resources. In that vein, I do sincerely hope you'll call on me if there's anything you could use assistance with. I am at your service, should you request it, Most Honorable Lady Au Pair." Another bow, as he makes this pledge.

He listens intently to her history "An unpleasant tale with a happy ending. Our stories are not so different, though yours is much more unpleasant, I daresay, as it regards your unkind Sire. Your journey inspires me. I hope I find Sacramento as you have."

He smiles gratefully when she asks him if he has any questions "I do, Lady Au Pair Sage. I was hoping you could go over the laws of the city for me. From what I understand these things often are very different from one domain to another, and I would hate to slip up before I have the chance to settle in here. Or if there's anything else about the city that I need to know, or any useful knowledge you can offer me as to the political climate between Covenants, I would be deeply grateful for your insight."

She should make sure to introduce him to Jennifer, both had an interest in computers. Not to mention he was pleasant to talk with.

There was a light laugh, “Isn’t that the truth. I remember times before the steam engine came to Alnwick, then how life changed with its introduction.” That had been an interesting time. “My Sire was adverse to technology, so my own knowledge is limited, though I hope to remedy it someday. Lady Notary Hazelton, who is also the Priscus of Haunts, also has a talent with computers. It is such a valuable skill to have.” She compliments.

Now that wasn’t something she was expecting to hear.

“I’ve never met someone who trains animals! What an interesting hobby.” She says with a smile. “Have you ever considered turning your hobby into a business?” she asks.

“You sound very ambitious, which will serve you well within the Domain. And who wouldn’t want more of both?” she says with a nod of her head. “I know I am always striving to obtain more both for my sake, as well as the advancement of the First Estate.” She came to the Domain with not a lot to her name, times have changed. “Any goals you have set for yourself?” she asked, curious to know how ambitious he was.

A wide smile appears at his offer, “A very generous offer, thank you.” She replies honestly.

“Through hardship we learn more about ourselves and what we are capable of achieving. He may have been cruel, but it taught me to be strong.” As far as inspiring, well, that was new. “But if your ambitions match your words, and you have the drive, you will go far here.” If he was stagnate, he would find this was not the Domain for him. Especially being of the First Estate.

This smile reached her dark eyes, “We can certainly go over the Laws! Before becoming Keeper, I held the position of Bailiff, and my duties involved the Laws and acquainting new Kindred with the Domain.” She motions to one of the walls, “If you will follow me, I will show you the Laws, and address any questions or concerns you may have.” She will begin to walk towards the wall, “Hmm, lets see. There are a few Carthians among the Kindred, but their numbers seem to grow smaller with each night. The Ordo has a strong presence here, and Seneschal Villiers is the Grand Wrym. The Circle has numbers that are growing, and they have recently reelected Mr Chris Wooding as their Hierophant. The Lancea is present, though I am unsure of their numbers. They count Reeve Connery as their Bishop.” She explains. “The First Estate has seen an increase in our numbers, and we recently had a meeting where we each swore an Oath. I will make sure to get you in contact with Lady Notary Hazelton so you may setup a time to swear the Oath.” She stops at the wall, “But you will find things are peaceful between the various Covenants. In my time here there has not been any issues or problems, everyone seems to respect each other.” At least in public. She will see if he has any questions before addressing the Laws.

"It would be my pleasure to help you get more comfortable with some of the more recent tech, if you'd be so inclined. As to your question, I had never thought of training animals as a potential business prospect, but it's an interesting idea that I'll have to consider."

When she asks about goals he chuckles "I'm accomplishing my goals for tonight. Meet an upstanding player in the Domain and introduce myself, learn what I can about the city, and after that get myself acknowledged and sate my thirst. In the nights to come, when I've gotten my bearings in this city, is when I shall solidify my goals. All things in good time." he says with a pleasant smile.

He listens as she explains the current situation between the Covenants, folding his hands behind his back and walking with her, leaning in attentively as she speaks. When she stops at the wall he gives her a grateful smile "How fortunate I was tonight to meet someone as welcoming and well informed as you, Lady Au Pair Sage. This meeting has, thus far, been as enlightening as it has been enthralling."

He faces her, awaiting her explanation of the laws. Behind him Alejandro meanders about, every so often looking about to observe the other courtiers. Never far from his master, but never so close as to be obtrusive.

She smiles, “I’ve been well trained by Seneschal Villiers, but thank you.” She felt her pride swell knowing she was being helpful. "It is something I enjoy and pride myself upon."


Her eyes turn towards the Laws, and she begins to explain them.

Failing to appear to two successive Court meetings invalidates Acknowledged status.

After she has gone over the Laws, her eyes return to Cameron,



“I can take you to one of the meeting rooms and show you the map of the Domain, which will show you the various Regency’s as well as the Communal Zone.” She replies.

“I think you will find the Laws fair, though please don’t hesitate ask me any questions you may have. I am more than happy to answer any and all of them.” She replied with a smile.

Her eyes see His Grace West enter, and a curtsy is offered with a bow of her head in respect. When she straightens, she looks to Cameron,

"His Grace Alder Clarke, Duke of Sacramento, Prince of the Domain and Judex of the Invictus has arrived." she says respectfully.

Cameron had followed suit, bowing deeply to the Prince as Daniella curtsied. Anyone to whom she would show such respect was clearly worthy of his own, he reasoned. His eyes widen a bit, though, when given the knowledge that the man they bowed to was no less than the Prince himself.

"So that's His Grace." he says, taking in the Prince's appearance, and briefly glancing around to observe the other courtiers reactions to his arrival "He certainly seems to embody the position well." he comments

Looking back to her he smiles "Yes, I'd very much like to see these maps. I'm not unfamiliar with the layout of the city, as it is, but the additional context of regencies and communal areas would be invaluable."

He follows her as she leads the way. "I could not help but notice there was no one named as Ventrue Priscus. Can you comment as to why that may be?"

She nods her head, “He does, and he is a fair and just ruler.” She praises.

Opening the door to one of the meeting rooms, she holds the door for Cameron to enter. Once he does, she moves to the front of the room and flips the chart until the map of the Domain is showing.

A delicate hand points to the various Regency’s, “These are the various Regency’s, each one under protected and run by a different Kindred. Which gives them the right to grant Tenancy to those they wish. What the price for those rights are, well that depends on what the Regent needs.” She explains. “Should you wish to approach on the of the Regents, I will gladly provide you with their contact information.” She says, “Upon receiving Acknowledgement, you are free to reside and feed within the Communal Zone, which is here,” again she points out the appropriate section on the map. “But please be careful and mindful of where you are hunting. His Alder Graces Private Rack is located here, north of West Street and Capital City Freeway; east of 5th Street; west from 29th Street and south from J Street, that is the Rack. As that is Royal Hunting ground, it is highly protected, just be mindful.” She advices, tone educational but friendly.

“Like most Clans, Family business is closely guarded. Master Galloway was the Priscus, but I’m afraid I have not seen nor heard from him. Though I am confident that your Family will be hosting a meeting soon and a new Priscus shall be elected.”

With the events of the previous Court and the Blood Hunt, she felt it necessary to read his aura,

“I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have in regards to the Laws and anything else. Though I may ask your permission to examine your Aura sir. Last Court we learned of a Kindred who had committed Amaranth. This request is not reflected poorly upon you, but as the Law states, those who have committed that act are not welcome here.” She says, “May I?” she asks, tone respectful.

Cameron takes a step back and spreads his hands with a smile "I have nothing to hide, Lady Au Pair Sage. Of course you may."

His aura is pale as it usually is in there kind, glowing light blue with a hint of lavender. There are none of the black, veiny telltale signs of Diablerie.

"It's a barbaric thing, the Amaranth." he comments as she observes his aura "There are truer paths to power than the cowardly theft of someone's soul."

"Satisfied, I hope?" he asks when she seems to be finished.
