    "Zoey"

If her messenger bag has been mentioned, Zoey is carrying an old leatherbound journal, two bottles of gatorade and a waterbottle, a change of clothing, a second small pistol, a couple of snacks and a variety of miscellaneous objects. Don't question a woman's purse.

The stare became more pointed as she watched the Arrow. She wasn't going to explain why she masked her accent while they were in public, but she figured it was reasonably obvious - aside from the fact that, as the girl had stated, most people didn't speak... Bostonese.

"You must be joking," Mandy sighed after a second. "In a noisy bar, you're barely going to understand me anyway. Add alcohol and an accent to that and you'll practically be trying to translate Israeli. It's not really bonding time if you have no idea what I'm saying, is it?"

Asp shrugged playfully, unconcerned about the stare. "Pretty sure it'll be fun when you're six shots deep and slurring your Bostonese," she quipped. "Okay. Fine. Don't do it the entire time. But whenever a guy comes to try to buy you a drink, do it then." Sage nod.

This was going to be awesome, if Mandy didn't sourpuss away the opportunity.

"I mean, if you'd prefer to bond with me and hear all my deep, dark secrets, we can do that, but I feel like this could be fun."

"Alright, take a step back on this then," Mandy responded, raising a brow at the girl, "what, precisely, is your challenge this evening, hm? After all, this seems to be a fun little game for you-" never mind the fact that guys didn't tend to buy her drinks, but hey, that was fine, this could become plenty of fun. "-but I don't see what you're challenging yourself with. What do you want to contribute?" she asked, her tone... almost playful.

"It's not a Barney Stinson Challenge if I pick it myself," Asp shot back, grinning. She really, really hoped Sourpuss was acquainted with How I Met Your Mother.

If she wasn't, there were going to be so many girls' nights. And Asp didn't like those all that much.

    "Come on. What've you got?"

    Fatal last words.

A devilish smile lit up Mandy's face. "Any time someone comes to offer you a drink," she began, "you send a flirty 'drunk text' to Cut."

He'd be damned if he thought she'd never done anything for him... plus. This would be fucking hilarious.

    "Challenge accepted."

She paused. Momma didn't raise no fool. There were so many ways to manipulate the situation.

"But if I get the sense you're cheating, you're drinking all of the drinks and I'm dropping you off at his place."

Bet Cut would like that, a whole lot, having a drunken Sourpuss dropped off on his doorstep.

"Who do you think I am, exactly, that you think I'd cheat in any way?" she asked, blinking at the girl even as the car pulled up to the location. "Though, now you've just tempted me," Mandy chuckled as she stepped out of the car, holding the door for the younger girl.

"I have no good reason to not go bang the little jester after getting myself thoroughly wasted," she mused absently. Heck, it really did sound like a win-win situation anyway. But it would be ever so much more hilarious for Asp to be... pft. "Regardless, you better be convincing, little snake. I'll be watching," she added with a wry grin.

    Double-take. "Whaaaaat?"

Did she hear that right? Asp could think of a lot of really good reasons to not go bang the 'little jester'.

"So. I was going to introduce you to a nice, handsome, athletic-looking doctor I met that could totally put a smile on that face and some sweat on that brow."

Wink, as she climbed out of the car.

"But, I mean, to each their own. Maybe we should swap challenges?"

"That isn't a challenge at all," she responded with a look of amusement, "plus, I don't think you could pull off Bostonese if you tried." Okay, so the name was growing on her. Damnit.

"So, let's play this out fair and square. You can get your laughs in at my accent, I get to watch catastrophe unfold as you flirt with Cut." Suddenly the idea that they were at a Jazz-based pub was entirely irrelevant. She'd be far too busy laughing at the expense of her fauxbal-mates to even need to pay attention. "And don't mistake me, I'm totally going to snoop and make sure you sent them - and see if he responds," she added as she moved to pay the cab-driver, before looking to the building.

    "Game on. Your move, kid."

Asp ran a hand through her hair, chuckling to herself. "You don't understand what you've started, ma'am," the Arrow replied, a little smile crossing her lips. There was to be none of that 'kid' thing. If Ozy was going for the young thing, she'd have to make her feel old. Turnabout, fair play, and all that.

Of course, if Cut asked, she was going to put this squarely on Mandy. She led the way into the bar, scanning the place before selecting a table in the corner. The bar wasn't exactly packed full of people, but it wasn't empty. There was some smooth saxophone sailing through the air from the live band on the stage, the tunes relaxing her a bit as she slid into the booth.

She let Mandy sit down before she looked her in the eye and asked her one thing that had been turning in the back of her mind. "So. Why do you figure you're going to be ditching town quickly?"

Important questions, important answers. Asp remembered the older girl's reaction to the proposal of their little faux-Cabal.
