John speaks up,
"Perhaps, it is best we go more in depth about a place of our own? I feel that if we secure one or two places we can call our own it will provide us a place to meet, a place were we can run to if things get to heated, and... of course this maybe a bit of a stretch, a good recruiting tool, what else would be a better way to show our good will to new comers who have not aligned themselves yet, than offering them a place to stay until they find a place of their own."
The last was merely a casual suggestion, Another big problem the Carthians had was that they did not have a lot of members and offering a minor gesture of giving a new coming kindred a place to hide from the sun while they settled in might be just enough to tip them to support the Movement than perhaps the Invictus.
"I also suggest, and perhaps now is not the time to discuss this, we set up a sort of constitution the clarifies the rights of members and out lines the responsibilities of those in leadership positions."
This was not a jab at Lance, it would be wise to set up such a document be it called "Carthian Law" or otherwise, so that there was no question as to who did what or who could do what. Not to mention, should the Movement ever get larger, then there might be a need for a Myrmidon.

Lance taps his fingers on the table as he thinks over Mclean's proposals. "I agree that we need some kind of safe house where we can meet and/or fall back to in case of an emergency. A safe haven of this nature, I think, should remain a secret to anyone not part of this organization. If everyone knows about it, it seems to defeat the safe aspect of a safe haven. Likewise, I don't believe that we should support people's housing deficiencies if they aren't a member of the organization. We can set up any number of safe houses up for the use of our members, we can even tell people about them, if not where they are, however if we just let anyone move in - hoping that they'll be impressed with our generosity enough to sign up, I think that's foolish and short sighted in the extreme."
"On a your second point, I think that we will need a certain clarity of speech we can't exactly maintain here, before we start talking about a constitution. I'm suggesting that we table that topic until the next meeting."
"I agree, now may not be a good time to go into more details. I'm also in agreement with Lance that our havens shouldn't be known to anyone but us."
Kaiden scrunches his head in thought.
"How often do we meet around here? I propose that we delay the next meeting until we have a more secure place to have it."
John Nods it seemed that He and Lance were in agreement once again. However, for some reason this did not bring him as much satisfaction as he thought it would. Sense John had spoken with Martha he was torn between the Ordo and the Movement. He hopped that this meeting would swing his opinion one way or another, well it wasn't over yet perhaps there would be something that John could latch on to here that would make it certain that he would stay. However what it looked like was that not much would be done again other than choosing a Perfect (who John had mixed feelings about).
"That works idea works with me as well."
He Turns to Kaiden,
"I also agree that we should probably postpone the next meeting until we have a...more appropriate setting to discuss business."

Lance gives an ironic little smirk. At least they all agreed on some things, that was a foundation. "Do quarterly meetings sound acceptable? We can schedule our next meeting in January and every three months after that?" A January/April/July/October would be a nice, clean cycle to setup and maintain, Lance thought. "That would give us time to get our affairs in order and build some things to bring to the next meeting."
John nods again,
"That works."
However, that would mean until then there would be no Law or order to the Movement other than the fact that there is a Perfect for the next three months. John keeps this to himself, he didn't want to get himself to deep into anything if he was already considering leaving the Movement. Once again, he will have to think and weigh his options.

Lance looks at Kesom, awaiting his thoughts, if any.
"Quarterly sounds fine. Of course, should something come up we should make sure to meet as necessary, but aside from emergencies, Quarterly is a reasonable schedule."
John nods again,
"So we are in agreement then."
John was glad that they were getting somewhere, that means they had at least done something right.
