The Reeve nodded slowly in response to the Seneschal. "Returning Kindred may prove to be a good omen." May. He might not have put much emphasis on the word, but it was there. Still, he said nothing else to antagonize the Mekhet. Otto simply observed the man and tried to get a feeling for how he might react. The Priest glanced back at the Gangrel Whip who had gone silent and resisted the urge to sigh.


So much for that conversation.

"Mr. Godwin?" Jennifer looks expectantly at the new arrival.

"You seek Acknowledgement in Sacramento. You have been away from the Domain for some time.

Do you intend to be a productive member of the Domain?
Do you pledge to adhere to attend all Formal Courts?"

"I asked if the offer of one was for not making an appointment or for you speaking poorly of the Seneschal very publicly. But it also goes to show your lack of understanding of how Boons work.”

Jennifer’s head turned towards the Alder Prince as Jennifer is mentioned. The dark eyes of the Nosferatu watch the two Kindred for a long moment. The imposing Alder Prince's body language was studied. Jennifer had grown to learn the Prince's body language. Cain’s body language was not known – for the unique creature was a rare and wondrous thing in itself – yet Jennifer noted Cain’s position with interest. Jennifer looked over the unacknowledged Mekhet for a long moment.
The attention was turned back to her conversation partner as Jennifer looked back at Mr. Godwin. The serpentine voice is not heard. The Seneschal had made her expectations known. If there was to be an Acknowledgement, someone was going to have to show her some effort. Otherwise, there were other things for Jennifer to do.

The Reeve stared hawkishly at Neville for a few seconds, glanced at the Seneschal, and then made a showing of glancing at his gaudy wristwatch. "I will be nearby, Lady Seneschal." He said mildly before looking back at Raul, seeing no further change from the Gangrel, and taking a few steps back from the assembled members of the Domain.

The Priest caught the attention of a few of his congregants and began to make small talk about upcoming holidays and sermons. Still, there was space left for another Kindred to join at will. "I wouldn't want to interrupt the Acknowledgment," he explained not-so-subtly to a Mekhet before glancing back at Jennifer. But the Seneschal would be within her rights to join in whenever she so pleased.

Jennifer looks at the silent newcomer and the quiet Gangrel.

"Perhaps next month will be more productive. Reeve Schneider." Jennifer makes a respectful nod towards the Reeve."The evening is late. I shall take my leave. Perhaps the next month might see some of these Acknowledgements. Shall you be busy this month, Reeve?'

The Seneschal gathers her items from coat check, gathers her ghoul and departs Elysium.

Otto gave a rueful smile at the Seneschal before she left. "I sincerely hope things progress smoothly, yes." He paused to consider how to explain his own plans before offering, "I intend to follow up with a clanmate. And to finish some unresolved business with a mortal. Quite permanent business." He bowed his head at the Nosferatu as she left before turning back to his fellow Sanctified for a spirited but polite debate on the circumstances that allowed for 'mercy killings' of kine. "Your use of the word 'mercy' betrays a degree of reluctance that is unbecoming. According to the Catechisms..."
