Two Savages Talking

The Savage does beckon him to continue to approach, inviting him to go up the couple stairs and join her.

Cain made no movements, he simply stood where he was, alert, watching, perhaps waiting for a command.

Where Ale stood was a slightly elevated seating area, one she frequently observed Court from.

“Mr.Domínguez, good evening.” She greets with a smile, “I hope you’ve been well.” Stepping off to the side to allow him a place to stand. “I won’t take too much of your time I promise.” An easy smile, “I simply wanted to check with you and see how you were settling in since we last spoke.”

[Raul]

Raúl smiles at the offer to approach. He doesn't glance to Cain at this time. He just takes the last few stairs and joins the other Savage in her viewing area.

"I have been well. Thank you for asking. I hope you've been just as well." He returns the smile and nods. "Take as much time as you wish." He nods. "Ah. Yes. Thankfully I was able to get back to my old stomping ground as it were with little fuss," he says with a grin. "Had to do a little clean up but it's the right season for that and all..." He pauses for a moment before adding, "If you're interested, I'd love to have you over for a chat sometime. It's not much. Not a large place and full of probably too many books, but it's home," he says, cracking a small smile. "I would not take offense if you don't want to."

A single nod of her head, “I have been well.” But truth be told, would the Italian ever say if she wasn’t? “Ah, that’s good to hear. Not many landlords are as forgiving I hear.” It’s why she preferred to own over rent. But not all were in a position to do that. “Were you able to touch base with the Reeve?”

Now this was a surprise, not many would dare to invite her over. For one, she was the Prince, and two, most did not consider her friendly enough to make such an invitation. So, it came a quite a surprise, and an eyebrow did raise in surprise, “Now this has to be a first.” A soft chuckle, “Nothing wrong with having lots of books, I’d be curious to know what subjects capture your attention. But I think I can make some time in my schedule.”

Truth be told, it's unlikely he'd ever say if he wasn't doing well either. If it didn't involve the individual personally, he wasn't wont to share much. "Yes, indeed. Thankfully, I was still in the time that I had prepaid for, so that was an easy fix.." he says with a smile. He gives a small nod to her question, "I did. Somewhat. We exchanged pleasantries and I assisted him with a small task at the last gathering. I was planning on getting a more formal 'touching of bases' with him this evening, if it could arranged."

He realizes that he might have overstepped with that invitation, his eyes widening ever so slightly. She is the Prince after all, but she's also family so it seemed appropriate and yet not. He was about to apologize for the faux pas when she accepts his offer. He lets a small but genuine smile warm his feature. "That's a good thing then. My tastes in reading vary almost day by day. Currently, it's Eurasian histories," he comments and nods. "Whenever it fits best into your schedule, I'd be happy to have you over."

Nodding, “Good to hear.” Luck had been on side it seemed. An eyebrow arches, “Assisted with a small task?” the question left open for him to answer. She might know what he was referring to, after all, Elysia was never truly empty of Officials. “Then I truly won’t keep you long.”

Catching the look, she had to laugh, seems she was in a good mood thing evening. “Can’t say I know too much on that topic, but I’ll look forward to hearing more about it.” Could be interesting. Or boring. Guess she’ll find out. “I’ll have Gabriel take a look at my schedule and I’ll let you know.” It shouldn’t be too hard to move some things around. And it would be good to actually be more social with those within the Domain.

“But, like I said, I don’t want to keep you too long, and it sounded like you had wanted to speak with the Reeve this evening.” Smiling once again, “Thank you for speaking with me, enjoy the rest of your evening and I’ll reach out to you soon.”

A smile followed by a slight shrug of his shoulders. "Menial, at best. When I came to Elysia last month, I saw that there were a number of new faces, new to me and apparently new to him. He was addressing one of them," he says, glancing towards the new Daeva in the crowd, "and I assisted by addressing some questions and concerns from a couple of ghouls that were here, scouting out for their regnants. I don't know if I was successful in addressing all of their questions and concerns, but I helped where I could. One of the ghouls said their regnant was of our Clan. I don't know which of them he is, if he is either of them," he says, glances towards the other new face in the crowd before turning his attention back to the Prince again.

That laugh from her seemed genuine and it causes him to crack a smile. "We definitely don't have to discuss that, if you don't want to," he admits. He certainly has other things in his collection. He nods when she says that she'll have her ghoul take care of the scheduling arrangements. All this talk of ghouls, perhaps he should consider making one. The thought seems more trouble at first but could prove useful in the long run.

He nods to the implied dismissal, giving another small bow with a smile as well. "Happy to speak with you, anytime, Your Grace. I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening as well and I look forward to you reaching out," he says, moving towards the edge of the elevated area, almost a dias before stepping back down amongst the other
