“And yet, it keeps happening. Not sure if it’s a Sire mistake, or something else.” A thoughtful look as she appears to think it over, “But that’s probably a more in-depth discussion for another time we were so inclined.” But it also depending on if the topic was interesting or not.

“Amazes me that we still have those who think they can include themselves in others business.” Nodding, “I think you’ll find him easy to talk to and work with.” She enjoyed the Lord, he was motivated, which was rare.

Shaking her head, “I have been the only Savage for some time. But our Family does tend to wander, so I can’t hold it against anyone. So long as they leave on good terms that is, and so far, everyone has.” She remembered what it was like to not be tied down, and there was a part of her that missed it. “I don’t know where your previous dwelling was, so that would have to be something you would have to look into. If it’s not, let me know and I’ll get you setup until you’re able to secure a place.” Not an offer she made to just anyone, but, he was Family.

“If there are no other concerns, then I’m happy to grant you Acknowledgement in the Domain and welcome you back.”

He gives a nod of understanding. "History has a habit of repeating itself when people don't learn from their mistakes..." he says with a soft sigh. "I'm always up for a good discussion."

He snorts and nods in agreement. Some people just get to be too curious for their own good. "He seemed fairly approachable the few times I saw him at Court."

Raúl nods. "Wanderlust is a fairly common trait in our family. Some grow out of it, some seem to revel in it. I try to keep mine in check," he says with a soft laugh. He nods. "I have some accommodations outside of the city for the moment. I can use while I look into my dwelling but I thank you for the offer. If something comes up, I'll let you know, but I should be able to work it out just fine."

He shakes his head. "No other concerns that I can think of. Thank you for the welcome and the Acknowledgment. I look forward to a pleasant and useful time living here again."

“Then we’ll have to get together some evening for a good discussion.” It had been some time since she’d had a good talk.

Reaching for a cell, a number was entered in and Raul’s cell would alert him that he had a message. “That’s his contact information. You could also reach out by leaving your information for him at Elysia if you like, or talk with him at the next Court, I’ll leave that up to you.” But it would be nice to have someone else working on the investigations.

“Some get put into positions and sort of have to grow out of it.” A chuckle. Then a nod, “Sounds good.” It was always the Savages that were self-sufficient. “It’s nice having you back, you know where you office is if there are any issues going forward, of if you just want to chat.” Not many get that invite, but he was Family.

Raúl smiles and nods. "I look forward to it. Perhaps I'll host at my place once I get everything settled there?"

His pocket vibrates and he glances down at his lap for the briefest moments before nodding. "Appreciated." He slips his phone out for a moment to save the information, noting the time. He'll have to get in contact with the Lord soon.

He nods and smirks. "Some get stuck in a rut and it's a nice way to get out of it." He blinks at the invite but a smile curls at his lips. "It's nice to be back, Sofia."

He stands up, pocketing his phone as he does. "I appreciate your time and welcome but I should probably get going. I need to make some calls and get some things in order. Until next time, I see you.." Unless he's stopped, he'll offer a small bow of both his head and torso, one that he hopes is adequate for his Priscus and the Prince in a less formal setting, "Have a good night," and then he'll make his way out of the restaurant and back into the city. His city? Perhaps. One day. For now, it's Our City.
