Jennifer invited her guest to a private area of the Salon. This Kindred would be the only one that would know of these private rooms dedicated as a Haven within the Salon.

Liam had made a quick written statement about what he had witnessed with Otto Schneider that Jennifer was reading over. This was something that needed a quick response.

Gabriel had received the letter and had promptly presented it to Ale. A quick read had her instruct the Ghoul to bring the Aston around and drive her to Lotus.

On the drive, stolen life had been pushed into her body, and her dead heart beat once again, her cold, lifeless skin was warm and full of life once again by the time they pulled up. Removing her twin guns, she places them in a lock box in the car, but keeps the empty holster on. The Ghoul opens the passenger door, extending a hand to the Savage. He would stay with the car.

Walking in, the Italian knows where the private area was and knocks before walking in.

Offering a respectful nod, “Sounded important.”

"Thank you for coming, Ale."
Jennifer set the phone to Do Not Disturb and set it face down on the desk.

"There is a great deal of movement regarding the investigation into the Neighborhood Watch that Helen started, abandoned and that Priscus Schneider overtook. As I mentioned loaning Liam to Priscus Schneider and I have received information that Priscus Schneider and Liam were taken in by the Neighborhood Watch. It appears that they are a fledging Hunter group investigating if a man that they are holding captive is in fact, a Kindred. It appears that they are holding Mr. Jake of the Ventrue Clan captive through last night. They intend to hold him through today and Priscus Schneider has talked his way into staying with the mortals while they do so. I have the idea to utilize mortals in our control to remain nearby the hotel in case that the Mortals progress to Final Death testing. I intend to message Priscus Schneider and inquire if he requests non lethal extraction.
It is my belief that any physical conflict will embolden these mortals. If one perishes, they will likely become a Martyr. Yet if we separate the Ventrue members, we can gum up the mortals with mortal law enforcement. I plan on utilizing a plan within the hour as this is time sensitive."

Taking a seat, she folds her hands and listens.

“I haven’t been aware of this investigation; this is the first I’ve been told about it. I do remember you mentioning loaning out Liam, as I was unwilling to loan out Gabriel. Especially to someone who had expressed such a dislike of Ghouls.” And she wasn’t in the business of loaning out her assists. Then an eyebrow arches, “We have Hunters? In Sacramento?” this was…unsettling. She’d rather deal with the Brood.

“What hotel are they being held at? How many mortals are we talking about? And are my men needed to be on the ground around the hotel?” Jenn was well aware of who Ale’s men were. Criminals, the Mob. A deep sigh, “This is not ideal you know? Having one of the Domain with the Hunters. I need to know what the plan is.”

"Yes. Liam assisted in presenting Otto as a mortal." Jennifer states.

"The Ridge Motel. The former Nosferatu Priscus around eight or so years ago would hold our Clan meetings there. It is in the Barrens. It is quite isolated and not in a good neighborhood.

There are three mortals present with Priscus Schneider and Mr. Jake currently. They are under direct observation by two mortals. A third mortal is observing the exterior of the motel.
I was told that there were additional mortals at a different site and that Priscus Schneider managed to get an invitation to where Mr. Jake was being held.

I do not think that we need to involve anyone who might suggest to these mortals that anything unusual is going on.
If you can deploy mortals to the area without alerting the sentry at the motel door, that could be a great idea in case there is a quick development.
I know that Priscus Schneider has negotiated his way into the mortal group to find out what they know and to intercept any harm to his Clan member. Yet as we go through a day, the risk to Priscus Schneider and Mr. Jake rises a great deal.

Priscus Schneider has not contacted me or Liam. I imagine that he is deftly negotiating with the mortals. At the current time, we cannot risk extracting the Ventrue members with the Daystar approaching. I plan to deploy Liam to watch over the Ridge Motel for the day. I intend to move to Ridge Motel at first darkness to extract Priscus Schneider and Mr. Jake. This was all unfolding just a few minutes ago and I hope to reach out to Priscus Schneider presently."

“The Barrens would be a preferred place for such a thing to be held.” Still not looking pleased about the whole thing.

Sighing, “Can we get intel on where the other mortals are? It would be helpful to be able to get eyes on them and be able to eliminate them as well. Or use them for information. Whichever. As to if I can get my men there and not alert anyone? My men are for criminal activity; the Barrens are one of the prime locations for drug deals and illegal activities. I should be able to get them there under the guise of a drug deal or some other illegal activity.” Though she doesn’t deal with drugs, it was easy enough to look like you were.

“You do realize the closer we get to the day, the more dire and important it comes to moving in right? We might not have the time to sit back and let him keep rooting for info, this could very well require a quick reaction. If they are mortal, they are an easy kill. But if they are truly Hunters, that raises danger level, we don’t know what weapons they have or what training they have had. I can get in unseen, but I don’t like the short time frame we have. It puts too many of us at risk.” Shaking her head, “This was not a well thought out plan, I’m sorry, but it wasn’t. There should have been more Kindred in the wings, and a better extraction plan in place.” You don’t fuck with Hunters without a plan.

"Liam, the address." Jennifer states over her shoulder. Liam consulted a notepad with the nights events written upon it and indicated the address to his Regnant. Jennifer looked this sheet over and copied the address down onto a clean sheet so that Alessandra would have a quick reference.

"Priscus Schneider and Liam attended an invitation that was at a hotel suite. Some of the mortals present are working with," A check of the sheet for the names. "Elisa and Kristen, the mortals observing Mr. Jake. There are non involved mortals located within this first meeting site at a hotel suite."
Jennifer looks at her watch.

"The time presently means that we do not have the ability to extract, Ale.
I am giving you the information from Liam's report to me. I have not had a response from Priscus Schneider. If you want to execute a different plan," Jennifer looked at Ale with interest.
"I am going to place a phone call to Priscus Schneider while he still has his facilities."
As it was still night.

"I hope that he has something."

An inked hand takes the address, looking it over.

“What we don’t have was a solid plan in the first place Jenn. If he knew or even suspected he was dealing with Hunters he should not have gone in without backup or a goddamn solid plan. You and I both know Hunters are not to be dealt with lightly. Even the most skilled Ventrue knows to tread carefully and with a fully thought-out plan.” Clearly frustrated and pissed.

“This puts not only himself, but Liam and by default, you and the Domain at risk. Tell me, what was the plan, what was the whole fucking plan? Because I need to know right here and now. Before I decide how to proceed to protect my Domain and tie up loose ends.” There was a heat in her dark eyes. “Because if he doesn’t have a fucking plan that covers all the bases and keep this Domain safe, and I have to clean this mess, no one is going to happy."

“I believe that we have a disconnect.” Jennifer states. “Priscus Schneider responded to the Neighborhood Watch incursion by speaking with the mortals. This was what I loaned Liam for. All of these events occured with only Liam and Priscus Schneider present, which made the Priscus have to react on his feet.

Priscus Schneider was invited to the first meeting at the hotel downtown which is the address that I wrote down for you. Once there, he managed to get an invitation to a second site to meet those in charge.
It was at this second site that Priscus Schneider realized that they were holding Mr. Jake.
Liam arrived twenty minutes ago from Ridge Motel and all of my information has come from Liam. There was no additional time to set up resources or to arrange Kindred on the ground. This – right now – is the opportunity that I have to do so. This all happened in the same night, within two hours.
If you want a new plan, set one up. You could coordinate the Kindred that you want on the ground to respond. I am going to call Priscus Schneider and see about any new developments."
Jennifer states. She understands the frustration and emotion that Ale is feeling. As she is frustrated that the response time needs to be so quick.

"I will be right back with more information from the source." Jennifer states. Jennifer places a phone call. She certainly hoped that new developments were favorable.
