    Otto Schneider

Otto Schneider does not look like a priest at first glance. He shares his clan's tendency to overdress and one could be forgiven for assuming he is on his way to a meeting of the board. But despite this outward appearance he speaks with a conviction that is only found in true believers. His gaze is intense and seems to refuse to soften to match the rest of his expression at any given moment, appearing as though he's staring daggers at someone even while he grins.

"To all you who read this prophecy, you share in my curse; hear these words, and take them and make them your own, and you are Sanctified."

There was something unreal in the air, a shift in the atmosphere that Otto couldn't properly put into words if he had tried. He stopped chanting. Perhaps it really had been a matter of pure faith, or maybe the restless dead merely needed to hear him promise aloud what he'd already resolved to do. But she was gone now.

As quickly as he could, the Priest smeared the salt with his foot to try conceal his efforts from any passing observer. Once he was suitably sure that it didn't look like anything more than, well, scattered piles of salt, he shoved his hands in his pockets and strolled away as casually as he could. The Ventrue made a point of trying to catch Alicia's eye as he moved away. He gave the Daeva a meaningful nod before taking a slow walk towards the nearest exit. The hard part was over. There was no need to arouse further suspicion.

Now I should prepare to meet up with Alaric.
The Priest pulled out his phone to scroll through his contacts and notes. Surely someone in my congregation has a van...

"You did not ask me if I have seen nothing strange. You are distracting me from my job duties." The guard responds to Alicia.
"If you are concerned about unusual activities, then you should want me to complete my normal circuit in order to keep the standard operating procedure of this venue."
The guard states in a flat, unimpressed tone. Those dark eyes of the guard are focused on Alicia. Whatever is going on over the guard's shoulder in Otto's direction appears to be forgotten. The guard is not pleased. Yet he is unaware of anything away from Alicia's presence.

The circle around Otto is a strewn geometric center of fallen items affected by spirit of the dead woman. He walks over obscured salt, clumps of sod and broken plants as he moves forward with his plan to follow through with Alaric.

    Haunting in Sacramento is concluded.
Thank you DamoclesImpaled and LadySin for following through this plot, through all of the research and socializing with Kine. It was a long one and I have enjoyed the story.
I am giving you a chunk of XP on your character sheets for seeing the plot through to completion.
As Otto wishes to pursue Alaric, DamoclesImpaled can create the plot name and tag the category with it when you create the next plot.
Thank you both. I appreciate you.
