Circe nods, getting his meaning. Likely not a too issue, but a Ogre issue. As for the piston problem: "Technically it was working, just had a crushed wrench stuck inside it. Making it imposible to move without a lot of grease. And a shop vac," it had been a mess to get out. Not just the work, but the actual mess to get it out. Lubricant plus a vacuum ws a recipe to get a lot of things filthy.
"Right," she agrees about the rats. "No Tunnel Gremlins, so props to the dead dick I guess." Circe shrugs in amusement. Mundy seems to have pulled it off, all signs indicated. Though still toxic up the nest, just in case. Or gasoline and a flare. Burninating or having a gas, whichever seemed easiest to pull off. Circe is feeling lazy.
"They are just rats," and there was a very filthy floor to try to search. Then she goes about re-positioning the barbed wire to block the passage again. That was what work gloves were for. Turnign the multitool into a bone saw dealt with the rat corpse. She'd need to clean it later. "They don't even swarm to attack. We can handle that. No food storage down here without steel container, but yes for poison. Easiest solution, put out the edible poison bait."
It'd thein the numbers. "I'll do some research online," she tosses the rat corpse bits away. Returns the wire back to blocking the path is done. "And then see what happens with the gas in the poisoned suburb. We CAN still use that on the Gremlin nest. Just tarp up there entrance and leave it for weeks or something. Or burn it, oh ho ho ho!"
Chemical warfare. Circe already used the not killy kind, might as well give the lethal variety a swing. Hopefully, for all the Lost and the world, she did not try the incendiary kind.

Narration:
Are the Lost being watched by a pair of beady eyes from a large rat as they speak? Nothing that they see indicates so. The tunnels show no signs of bipedal predator infestation. Only vermin in a variety of versions and sizes. At least there were no giant cockroaches.
End Scene.
Thank you ReubanBrightwood, this was a fun scene. Playing into the Lost's paranoia from invisible foes is amusing. For it is hard to prove a negative
But now they've a known ROUS problem. Will they get tot that size? Tis a mystery."Technically it was working, just had a crushed wrench stuck inside it.
