A Tour! Here there and Everywhere!

Was Mina excited that Vincent both remembered his offer to give her a tour of the city and agreeing to meet at the pinball arcade?

Yes, yes, she was.

She had been exploring the city here and there on her days off, but it would more enjoyable with someone else with her. Especially someone who had lived her longer and was a fellow Lost. So it was going to be a good time!

The delicate Elemental was waiting outside Capital Pinball Palor, looking quite relaxed in stylish ripped jeans and a white tank top. A small backpack was on her back, which one could safely assume counted as her purse for the day.

Vincent Black drove up and parked near the location that Mina had suggested. He had passed by the place a few times, but had not been of the mind to stop in. The beast was wearing a tank top, sleeveless hooded cardigan, jean shorts, and a pair of doc martens boots. Hardening his mask as he stepped out, his clothes did not hide the markings of his kith, but to the mundane eye they would look like shiny tattoos.

As Vincent walked up to the building he saw his fellow Lost. "Hey Mina, glad to see you today. Are you ready to play some pinball? It has been a long time since I have played personally."

[Mina]

Seeing the Beast walk up, the Snowskin happily waved, “Hey Vincent, same!” glancing at the building, “Oh, most definitely! Though I must confess, I’ve played recently with Sonnie. But I’m pretty rusty too.” Laughing, “So I say we just play and have fun!” what can she say, as any Spring, she was about having fun!

Capital Pinball Parlor claimed to be the ultimate in pinball experience! They were not joking, and had thirty-four different pinball machines! All varying themes and ages, a little bit of something to peak everyone’s interest!

Vincent followed Mina into the Parlor and was immediately hit by a combination of awe and nostalgia. Immediately recognizing games from his childhood as well as some newer machines he had never seen before. After taking it all in for a moment he finally spoke, "Okay I know I was supposed to be showing you around, but this is truly a hidden gem I did not know about."

Looking around a bit Vincent offers, "So do you want to play side by side or take turns on a machine that offers two player play? I am willing to do whatever you want."

The Elemental seemed to puff up a bit with pride, “Really?! You didn’t know about this place?!” seeming both shocked and amazed, “I sort of stumbled upon it when I was just walking around and fell in love with it! I was never good at pinball, but I remember them from being a kid and how much fun they were.” A wave was offered to the guy behind the counter.

“We can do both! Maybe with the side by side play you can tell me a bit about the city and what you enjoy about it? I do still want you to show me around and see the places that stand out to you.” You could tell a lot about a person by what places they enjoyed.

“So which machine catches your eye? The retro ones? Or something newer?”

"Honestly I am more of an outdoorsy person, so where I do explore the city, I have never thought to look for an arcade." Vincent sighs, "You would find me more at a park. In fact, there is a nice park by the river nearby. I am sure you saw it if you walked here. Which again makes me wonder how I have missed this place as I have come around the Waterfront often."

At Minas response about doing both Vincent says "Awesome!" Vincent Black looks around and sees the Labyrinth pinball machine, "How about the Labyrinth one? That is one of my favorite movies." Vincent then thinks about it, "Well when we are done here we can go to the park I mentioned and walk around a bit. There is a neat water portion where you can run through sprayers."

Glancing at Vincent, “Outdoorsy? Like, hiking and camping type outdoorsy?” she asks, curious. “Oh, I always look for arcades when I get to a new city! They’re like, a requirement for me. I love arcades. There is this other one I plan to hit up soon that has a bar, so they let you drink and play games at the same time.” So sign her up. “I have seen the river and park, but I’ve always been drawn to the city scape more.” But she wasn’t opposed to it.

Looking to where he was looking, “Sure! I haven’t tried that one yet. I think I’ve seen that one, it’s the one with the owl and the baby, right?” if so, it was an ok movie to her. “I’d like checking out the park. It might not be my thing, but I’m down for checking it out. You make it sound like it’s worth taking the time to see.” Plus, she was always down for new things. “Run through the sprayers?!” laughing, “Ok, now I am sold!”

"Yes, also hunting, fishing, foraging. Anything out in nature you can think of I have probably done it. It is a lot of fun going out during the full moon and listening to the wolves around the woods go crazy." Vincent Black made his way to the pinball machine.

"Yes, it is the one with the girl and the owl man, owl man being the late great David Bowie. As a kid I thought the idea of being whisked away to another land would be awesome. Until well, you know." Vincent then looked back to Mina, "So what about arcades draws you in?"
