His smiled continued as the nurse had not seen through the very questionable excuse for his presence. “Oh definitely, I would not have volunteered otherwise. A little sacrifice is worth it, if the deal is sweet enough for it.” He looked down the hall as she spoke to see where she indicated with the room number. “Shouldn't be a problem for us but will the patient be disturbed if we go in there? We have no intention of disturbing them, just purely get what we need and get out.” He makes sure to give no sign that this was an issue with his body language. “Yes of course I can sign us in.” He proceeds to sign himself in as 'Charles Francis' and then he Signs in Thirteen in as 'Julia Smith'. “There all sorted for you. Thank you once again, sorry to have disturbed you and your work, and you have been a big help.”

Cartwright, with a glass panel to obverse through if needed inside the room is spartan no flowers, no cards no balloons maybe that stuff wasn't allowed instead a single bed surrounded by machinery, monitors and a IV drip the patient under the sheets and antiseptic bandages is covered near head to toe their face hidden under the swath of white linen and the shallow regular breathing along with the machine display indicates that the person is indeed in a coma the clipboard at the end of the bed has medical notes and two plain wooden chairs sit in one corner of the room.

It was a burn unit, so the gloves and masks were to be expected, and she didn't complain. Thirteen had enough on her mind right now, anyway. Cerberus had been sufficiently bamboozled and they were past the gate and into Hades.

No idea who S. Cartwright was, and it didn't matter. The patient was an unfortunate obstacle to their search. She gazed into the room through the window first, looking for anything unusual that might stand out before she would step inside.

He have the nurse a nod. “Always good to add the rainy day fund. I am glad then, well we best get ourselves started and then we can get it all sorted quickly. You have a good rest of your shift.” He masked up and gloved up as he was required to do, he lead on to the room.

Once at the door, he read off the name on the door. S.Cartwright. He entered into the room, Seeing it bare, seemingly no signs of relatives visiting. The his presence felt like and intrusion on the patient and the silence bar their breathing felt like he had broken into someone house. He turned to thirteen once she had entered and Closed the door. “For the sake of the bookkeeping, I signed you in as Julia Smith. I figured it would be safer to do so should they need to check on who came and went on the ward.” He gave a quick look around the room before they began anything because there was no harm in looking. I wonder if they have anything to cover the door. Spare blanket or something?

Perception - 2 successes

He did not know what compelled him to, but he spoke in a low volume to the patient. Something about him not seemingly having visitors made him feel sorry for them and he felt some small sympathy given in word form would manifest some good fortune to them. “Sorry to bother you, we will not be here long, I hope you recover from your injuries and are able to get back on your feet. Stay strong.” His voice held a hint of sadness and respect that was directed to the person in the bed.

Finally turning back to Thirteen. “All good to begin?” He held his hand up to give a thumbs up and then rotated it down then back up in quick succession to coincide with the question.

Taking the time to stop and look before entering the room Thirteen can observe there's something odd about Mr. Cartwright its not that he is favoured or hated by fate but the way the strands hang to him there's more of them then the usual person and something about seems uncannily like strings on a puppet.

Asclepius oblivious to this danger walks into the room and finds no spare bedding is left out, its likely the nurses will being it with them when its time to change.

Thirteen opened her mouth to say something before Asclepius barged into the room. Brows knit together, but she shook her head and followed him inside silently.

She didn't mind the additional alias. She wasn't the one who signed in, after all. The Acanthus merely nodded, watching the patient and eyeing those threads of fate. Something didn't feel right about whoever this guy was, and she hated that.

"Mm-hmm," she answered with a positive sound rather than words, but she waited before taking any actions. She wanted to see if this Cartwright guy was awake or not before she did anything.

To him nothing seemed out of place, the room was quiet bar the breathing and the machines that were present in the room. No sign of bed sheets or something to cover the door, which was a little unfortunate but understandable, some improvisation would be needed should they need to cover the door.

One thing that he could not shake was Thirteen's silence, he understood why she was quiet all the way to the room. However something did not seem right with her, he could not fully place it but from what he had seen she was quiet talkative and the lack of speaking was confusing to him. For now he would chalk it up to a different personality presented when working on an investigation, not something he was unfamiliar with, as he had experienced similar with Skye and her split behaviour. Regardless of this assumption he could not hide his urge to give a confused look to her, raised eyebrow and all can be seen with a turn to look at her.

He gave the chart a quick look over to see if he could confirm whether the patient was indeed in an induced coma, not that he did not trust the nurses, but he needed to be sure using his own knowledge because of what his intention in the room were.

The room sits still and quite, nothing moves that shouldn't, their unseen senses don't alert them to supernatural dangers but Thirteens sight note that as they enter the threads of fate around Cartwright almost seem to tighten going taught, it has no bearing on his physical posture which remains comatose but it's not hard to imagine the mans limbs being pulled into an almost crucifixion pose.

Asclepius checking the chart is sufficiently skilled in medicine that if what the chart says matches what's in the IV drip can be confident this man is in a coma.

Alright, something was going on with this patient. Given his proximity to their mission, Thirteen felt she would be remiss if she didn't investigate his threads of Fate. And it had to mean something, didn't it? A man with some sort of heavy fate being in the same room as Corn had been, on the day they came here?

Silently, she gathered her Supernal will and called down the power of the Lunargent Watchtower to better study this Cartwright's connections to destiny. No High Speech, of course. Not in such a quiet location with Sleepers all about, including one in this very room.

Yes, she was still silent. If that bothered Asclepius, she didn't care. Aside from tingling his Unseen Senses, all the Arrow would notice about the Acanthus was that she was staring intently at the coma patient.

Once the chart was checked and given the state of Mr Cartwright's lack of movement, stirring, or response to his previous words. He was somewhat sufficiently happy to begin. Do I need to use healers trance? I don't think it shows me something like that... just ailments and injuries.

The continued silence from Thirteen, was brushed aside in his mind. He had now chalked it up to a difference in personality when working, and in his mind it was sometimes for the best to do such things. His unseen senses being tingled told him that she had begun her own methods of investigation and so time came for him to do the same.

Right lets do this. Breath deep. I need to see if there are any spirits currently here so lets begin with making that possible, then if I see any I will worry about that once I have concluded that there are spirits here.
