Necropolis A new outlook

There is a house within a neighborhood of forgotten houses, with overgrown lawns. An abandoned feeling holds over the neighborhood. One such house serves as the aboveground entrance to the Necropolis. The paint is peeled, the shingles are falling off, but inside is a slightly different story. The house is worn, but occasionally cleaned and taken care of. The Priscus had increased security over the years to discourage unwanted visitors.
Below the house hides the entrance to the Necropolis.
The bathhouse, the heart of this communal haven, is a bit due to the Nosferatu that had departed the Domain. The time required to keep the Caldarium in its desired condition would need a member of the Clan to devote some part of their nights to the act. A few minutes before, Liam had lit the candles that help create the dream – like quality. The ghoul now waits at one of the stools in the adjacent sitting room. Liam wears a fine tailored suit in grey with a white dress shirt. The tailored suit is reinforced in areas and tailored to account for the weapons he is required to carry in his role. The man appears average in every way. When Helen walks by, he would give a deep bow of the head. He does not meet any Kindred's eyes; he is respectful and not presumptuous.
The electric lights in the bathhouse are set for a certain mood: soft and dreamlike. There is a deep pool, its own pool lights calm and steady. There is a new addition to the bathhouse. A painting was encased in a special glass made to protect paintings from heat, humidity and damage. This painting was predominantly displayed. The painting was created by a Nosferatu, Cynthia Weiss, and had been given as a gift to the Nosferatu Clan. The subject was this very Caldarium, created some time ago.

Jennifer sat facing the painting of the ruined Caldarium, a gift for the Nosferatu. She is awaiting someone whose opinions she wishes to hear. Jennifer studies the painting, her eyes lighting on new details that she has not noticed before.
Jennifer dresses casually tonight: a dark brown slip dress. A green thick cowl was loosely worn, exposing the grievous wound to her neck that Jennifer's sire had given her. Jennifer's flats were already slipped off, baring her feet. Jennifer wore a severe expression.

Helen enters the caldarium from her Necropolis quarters. She's dressed casually with jeans and a red t-shirt. Looking around, she takes her steps towards and takes a seat close to the pool.

"You wanted to talk to me ?"

"Yes." Jennifer looked over as Helen enters the Caldarium. Jennifer moves with intention, slowly turning her body from the painting that evoked such emotions within her.
"I want to talk to you on some important matters. I stated my dissapointment with your actions after a Court and I am surprised that you were not the one to seek me out." Jennifer states simply.

"I had to go out into the night and button up some poacher that was making merry throughout the Domain with a newcomer to the Domain. Mr. Roman was quite reluctant to say a single bad word in regards to your conduct."

Jennifer looks at Helen.
"Where were you?"

"Got called away on somkething that looked like trouble, but ultimately wasn't. Not that the guy coiuld tell, but I thought it best not to ignore the matter. Knowing Marcus, I was sure he'd be able to handle some poacher on his own. I mean, I've seen him do more tricky stuff."

[Jennifer Hazelton]

Jennifer considered for a moment.
"I do not believe that you used the best judgement. No matter how skilled or how much you value someone else who you designate to assist you, bringing in criminals is your responsibility." Jennifer states. She looks at Helen for a moment.
"It created confusion when her Grace and I were handling the situation."

Jennifer watched Helen for her response. This was a matter that had been on Jennifer's mind. She was looking forward to hearing Helen's thoughts.

[Helen Kingsley]

"I see how that could, yeah."

Well, what do you say to that ?

"Fair enough, I'll see to that it won't happen again."

[Jennifer Hazelton]

Jennifer looks at Helen for a moment.

"The matter was solved by Mr. Roman. I have not been in touch with him since a rather disappointing encounter at the Crone Farm in January. Have you been in touch with him?"

Jennifer waited with a composed expression for Helen's response. She had some expectations for the talk tonight, as they had not met in some time.

[Jennifer Hazelton]

"Well. This has been a bit of a quiet night, hm?" Jennifer looks at Helen. "I do hope that you seek me out the next time that we have issues to iron out, Helen. I wish you the best."

Jennifer stood. She did not state wasted words or flowery yet empty prose. She knew what had been requested of Helen. Helen was not the type who needed her hand held or constant henpecking.

"There are going to be changes in the nights to come. Many have departed the Domain. I imagine that we both will have a lot to do..." With this thoughtful and a bit dream - like statement, Jennifer moved out of the Caldarium. She could be heard moving through the catacombs, continuing her business of checking the security of the Necropolis.
