The Priest tried not to let it show, but a brief surge of relief ran up his spine as Seneschal Hazelton complimented his present approach to Domain politics. "I am pleased to hear you say so. I have faith that continuing in this manner will prove that cooperation and integration with Sacramento's Kindred is the best path forward." The Lancea Sanctum had earned its bloody reputation by the deeds of countless militant Bishops through history. Otto wondered if others thought his efforts insincere, that he was simply feigning a peaceful attitude to catch them unawares. One step at a time.

He nodded at Jennifer's response regarding her personal circumstances. "Perhaps." The Priest sounded calm. "It is neither my place nor my intention to lecture you, Seneschal Hazelton. For what it is worth, if you hadn't said anything, I would never have guessed that it was a concern. You are a remarkably stable fixture of the Domain." Another shrug. "That stability is a large part of why I have faith that this Domain is where I am meant to be."

"I believe integration to be an important aspect of continuing one's Danse in Sacramento. An island will have a difficult time ahead." Jennifer states, in a musing voice.
Jennifer inclined her head slightly in the Priest's direction, acknowledging his words and showing that they did not cause offense to her. The words were considered for a moment. Turned over and examined. The words were a welcome respite from some conversations in recent memory.
