The spartan office is exerts a pressure among those in and around the doorway the dark deep and oppressive, tangible and powerful, engulfing and malicious. The unseen sense of every mage tingling to be here something is so very off surely even sleepers would notice this.

Speaking of those who remain outside can the beams of several flashlights approaching from the corridor that leads to the main entrance to this building, it would seem the police have arrived.

Dark shadows scatter in ordered symmetrical patterns traversed by a crackling pallid silver light that wraps Winter in a pleasantly numbing and icy coldness.
When vulgar magic is cast, the frequency of the oscillation of the dark fluid surges until the shadows arrange themselves in a solid black halo around Winter's head, the white light darkens into a fiery black sunlight and his eyes are set ablaze with vivid incandescence.

The stranger seems to be more interested in his "experiment" than in them, in fact - just like in the bout of reversed Time - he wasn't attacking. The Obrimos is perplexed, their time is running short, as soon sleepers will be on the scene.
They should destroy these creatures, at the same time, he wonders whether that's the right course of action, as it could bring more problems along the way.
"Honestly, I don't know what they're doing. They're just there, observing", he whispers to his comrades.

Philip, gave Winter a frown. First, he told them to wait and Corn to make something, and then only the info that whatever was behind that door was observing them? While the mundanes were approaching with searchlights. It was like Winter wanted them to find them by taking all the wind out of their sails and stalling them. He seemed to have taken the lead only to relinquish it again when they needed it most. And then there was his whole vision thing, and the compromised phones. In the quietest of whispers, he spoke, conveying the utmost urgency of their situation merely by speaking.
"Can we maybe do something? Anything, instead of waiting for whatever you`re talking about to continue observing us or achieving whatever they want? Never mind the cops?"
switching from a frown to blinking confused.
"I`m for going through the door. Or hiding from those guys."
he said. He wasn`t confident. Winter surely had good reasons to gesture for them to stop. But he also figured any place would be better than staying where they were at at that point, despite the destroyed stairs partially preventing the Sleepers from reaching them. So, after getting his thoughts in order, trying to hide from searchlights was what he settled on.
    1 success

But he also knew he was still out of his depth. Corn`s mastery of Matter was needed here and not his own knowledge of Fate and Time. Nevertheless, he decided he was going to try to find another way out of the building they were in, although he expected if there was one, it would likely be cut off outside as well. And he was determined to find some way to be useful as well. But how?
His previous vision of blinking antennas, satellites, data, and a specific dark server room that had to be shut down at an unknown amount of time in the future, continued to haunt him. It was a daunting task if they couldn`t even find a path forward. But, he figured, he had more important things to do at the moment- such as sneaking away from the search lights to avoid getting caught red-handed while the others were just stalling. And he also took another look around, for good measure, trying to find some other means of escape.

"What he has to lose? We're the ones in a pickle. He's in twilight. And he knows my resonance by heart by now." Corn whispers. "If we go in, he will probably take action. That knife... " Corn takes a few seconds to check that knife.
    Scrutiny, 5S

After inspecting the nature of that knife, he reached back to his extensive memory, to think if he knows more about this thing... He takes his time, trying to use the element of fate to perfectly align his mental search to the problem at hand.
    Int+Occ -?? + QF to mitigate

As the flashlights appear, Corn says. "I could set a couple of desks on fire, which will probably cause them to delay, but it would take a toll out of me. And then the FBI hunters... " he shudders. FBI hunters. Why? And why are they there doing the job of the FBI hunters?
"... if we hide here, they will have to leave eventually as they can't reach us. And their presence would be as much an issue with that guy as with us if it comes to a fight."

Following Philip's example, Corn tried to conceal himself from the approaching flashlights.
    Ninja! 2S

For identifying the knife (on top of nature) Corn mitigates penalties (up to -2) with Quantum Flux. Not -3 cause he's cocky.
Considering a -2 is mitigated, one success should land even at a -5 penalty; not too great, but not a failure either.
Furthermore, grim sight is active. Does this mage seems "Death-heavy" or I need scrutiny for that?

The Arrow moves as quick as she dared maintaining the invisibility spell around herself. Her Supernal sight showed magic flickering - too far away to be made out but enough to see hints of Awakend Spells - in the far warehouse. She made her way there, checking for Sleepers before discretely opening the door and letting herself inside.

Hopefully the Mages would be easy to find.

    Verity Carmen Scenes

Winter the mage with the most insight of any here is frozen in a moment of analysis paralysis the right course of action not immediately apparent to him, he has stumbled into something huge, a clear and definitive risk to the veil should it go loud and surely even sleepers could notice the impending gloom of the room not mention the dead bodies below fried by his electric assault.

Philip hits the deck or the stairs as he drops low the only point of any possible cover behind the glass wall that allows them to see the approaching flashlights of the officers, he can see five separate beams of light making a more tactical formation, sweep of the office area below, clearly the introduction of dead bodies to the nights agenda has brought about more alert and professional behaviour from those below. Maybe he could play a game of chicken using the maze as cover try to be where they are not? that seems the best option for escape.

Corn can understand that knife highlights under his grim sight for the reason things almost inevitable do, it has seen death, often, it is steeped in the ending of lives, the snuffing out of light. But he does raise a good point what has this other to fear when the Consilium mages can take the fall for him? A worrying thought has he to tries to merge with the floor in an attempt to not be seen through the wall of glass.

Phoenyx might have had to much faith in Corn, or given him to long to offer her further insight because when she arrives at the warehouse setting off her unseen sees the door is already well opened and three uniformed officers are setting up an impromptu crime scene with tape and restricted access as a body lies on the floor, well dressed, seemingly very fresh but riveted in electrical burns. She can see further down the hall five more heavily armoured figures with shotguns are starting a sweep of the next room. Something supernatural are definitely in this building her unseen senses are going crazy, hopefully they are the mages she is after, if so they seem to have gotten cornered by an armed police response.

Salem is tuned in and the team below have good radio discipline keeping lines clear for updates from outside, information seems to be that dog units and a helicopter are being directed this way in case a man hunt is underway. Unexpectedly finding a double digit number of dead bodies tends to make law enforcement nervous and trigger happy it would seem. he however has not mastered the art of the carpet method of stealth it would seem and the glass wall does him no favours.

He takes a deep breath, forcing himself to break free from the paralysis of indecision.
He glances at his comrades, noting their anxious expressions as the flashlights draw closer.
They could leave, possibly exposing the Sleepers to whatever was going on, or they could stay, potentially having to explain to a bunch of armed guards what they were exactly doing in a building full of bodies.
"Listen," he whispers, his voice steady despite the chaos around them. "All I can do right now - given our lack of time - is stop that guy from messing up with the Veil and cast magic further, as we don't want to risk a confrontation with people around. As for the bodies, the Sleepers' mind are already working to fit a justification, our biggest problem right now is to leave unseen."

Philip, gave Winter another frown. What they needed at that moment from their de-facto leader was action, and not a speech on what he could and could not do at this crucial juncture. And if he was gonna give a speech, then at least back it up with action too. He thought, as he saw several of his companions follow his example and attempt to make for cover. Winter didn`t even bother to hide from the searchlights either. First, he told them to wait and Corn to make something, and then only the info that whatever was behind that door was observing them? And now that he has no time to do anything except stop whatever entity he`d been describing. All, seemingly without doing anything. What`s his deal? he thought, incredulously. But he nodded when he brought up escape as their best option. You think? he finished in his head before much more seriously:
"Then let`s escape. And we need to turn off all lights. I could do that, but that would come with an unknown price. Or, you could make a tunnel for us to use? Or we could go downstairs and play chicken with them and hope?"
he whispered, again taking the chance to speak with the cops around, presenting his escape plan ideas as his thoughts ran wild on what one could achieve with Matter mastery. Seeing as Corn had already destroyed the stairs with but a thought, making a tunnel didn`t seem too far-fetched to Philip. He really didn`t want to wish the lights off, feeling the repercussions of fun would be quite significant if he did, so he was open to suggestions as he continued hiding from the lights. But he did keep that options in his back pocket just in case. The better to cause massive confusion that might be attributable to an electrical malfunction

"I can attempt to cause a diversion that will make the Sleepers delay and will, hopefully, make it harder for them to disbelieve the stairs being broken, " Corn whispers. "because 5 sleepers looking at the stairs at the same time, will unravel it immediately, the potency is not great. Also, if you think it prudent or that it would help, one of us could affect a big part of the building with something sleepers wouldn't notice but our ally on the outside would see."

Corn waits for a moment to see if anyone would raise objections to him causing a distraction.

If there are no concerns raised, Corn lets two of his spells end to decrease the pressure on his pattern. Then, he focuses for a few moments, taking the most opportunate moment to turn the floor under the heavy iron desk to chalk, reaching to Stygia through his lead amulet.
    Paradox F
Without interference from the Abyss, he takes care to transform an irregular area under the desk, trusting that the weak material would break under the weight and send debris and a desk crushing down, spooking the Sleepers and making them think the upper floor is unstable.
