Striking LooksPuck nods his head in understanding as the spirit stated it's position. He then turns his attention to his fellow awakened.
"He's not going to let us tamper with the space further. He also doesn't seem to care for High Speech and is getting agitated. Keep looking, but don't touch or change anything until I talk to him a bit more."
And with that his attention returns to the giant city ape.

Eulogy was surprised that Phoenyx had urged him to have a look but he guessed it made a certain amount of sense. He was presumably the least combat oriented of the group. Now if that made him expendable was left to be decided. He glanced side to side trying to figure out which would be the easiest location to slip over to. Since the creature's attention seemed to be held by Puck,
Well aren't I thick? he chided himself as Pucks words slapped the puzzle into place. "OH ok so, It doesn't like High speech, so my money is those are definitely Atlantean runes I see." He looked at Phoenyx. "Okay I am going to take a look." He chose the cement sacks as his destination purely by instinct. He made great effort to move as stealthily as he could trying not to draw attention to himself.
I added these to save time. If Eulogy makes it without alerting the spirit he will scrutinize. if not Ignore.

The Group used few words, hoping to come to the same conclusions with different parts of information. Just as Eulogy set off to take a closer look Puck demanded the Spirit's attention again. Both efforts paid off and the Moros was able to arrive at one of the runes without a giant ape barging after him. Indeed, the sack on top of the pile had an Atlantean Rune sprayed on - something that could be translated into 'Call' or 'Beckon'.
Scrutiny revealed that the spell reinforced by this rune had a single target - cementing the idea that this could have been used to summon and bind the Spirit here.
Maybe it was his winning personality, maybe it was his talent for interviews and interrogations: the noises coming from the Spirit sounded less aggressive, more ready to communicate with Puck as it answered. <<They shift the flows of energy to gain, gain gain. There is no temperance, there is never enough.>> The rumbling sound of heavy machinery, with wordless chanting swinging in the overtones. For anyone capable of understanding High Speech it was obvious that this wasn't really Atlantean - maybe this was what High Speech sounded like to those that could not speak it. <<One does not change those flows, nor does one change them back like that.>> Despite the simple language and primal appearance, the Spirit seemed to possess some degree of intelligence.
With the direction Eulogy has taken Phoenyx was still placed somewhere between the ape and the others - luckily there didn't seem to be a reason for action so far, but if they wanted to look into the other places Eulogy had shown them she might have to reposition.

Moving to stay mostly central between her self-appointed charges, She tries to see if there are any clues in the immediate area to what might have happened here.

There's much to be said about the carelessness of those manipulating ley lines in the middle of the city.
And although the wisest response would be to nuke the area from orbit, this simian friend of theirs probably deserves a bit more respect.
He sighs, opting for the second best choice, trying to establish how exactly the area has been tampered with.
The imago is a map, the world is the territory. Not perfect, but you can't really miss the firework underneath your feet.

<<I'm here with some pretty capable people.>> He does his best to sound reassuring, however that might sound to the other mages when reassuring is forced through the growls and grunts of the spirit tongue. <<Can you tell me about the people who shifted the flows? What did they do? Who were they? Did they speak that language I can hear filtered through your voice?>>
Gotta start somewhere and this mage is starting with the witness.

"Yeah so, I can confirm that some one has intetionally plucked this poor creature fromt it's habitat. The runes seem to be for summoning and containing it. Any ideas on how to dispell it?"
The moros looked at the other three mages hopeing one of them could think of something better than his idea of physically breaking the runes. He had no idea what the outcome of that would be.

From where she stood Phoenyx could see a yellow graffiti amidst some scaffolding in the direction Eulogy had pointed at. And there was something else of notice: near the tree she could make out some candle-stumps lying around. One of them had been smashed into the ground and broken. Someone or something apparently wasn't happy with whatever the candles had been used for.
Winter willed his imago into reality to get to the bottom of the situation and the moment the moment the greenish-blue ley lines became visible to him his earlier suspicion was confirmed: two ley lines ran parallel to each other at some distance until they took an artificial looking turn to converge at the tree's position. Which explained the evolution of energy he pinned down with his earlier spell.
The ape hunched down to be a bit closer to Puck's level. <<It does not know those that meddled. The one who called it told it. And it sees the meddling.>> To the Acanthus the spirit sounded patient, almost condescending. It apparently didn't question its summoner's side of the story one bit, either because whatever it could see as evidence was good enough or because it had been sufficiently manipulated.
The Moros might not be familiar with the occult, but whoever taught him High Speech hadn't failed to mention that physically destroying the runes would cause a spell to become inert. Then again, with two Obrimos present it wasn't unreasonable to assume there were more subtle ways to deal with this.

She looked around, choosing her words before replying to the Moros. "There is evidence of a ritual. Candles," she gestured to where they were hidden, "and the runes. As with most all such spells, it is dispelled with Prime. Unfortunately, unless one is particularly skilled at the Prime Arcarnum, one also needs to understand the sphere to be unweaved, and I do not know how Spirit works." Dark eyes looked back to the creature Puck was talking to in that harsh, clacking voice. "I am not sure how dangerous such a thing would be if it were released."
The Arrow looks to Winter. "Do you believe you could dispell the wards?" she asked the Guardian.
