It's time for the Acadian Tango. Not that Acadian Tango. But one sure to put a smile to fen-water eyes. That verdant ripple from B-Ro means it's time. Gloved fingers spin the steel card between fingers and it catches fire before his arm whips in a practiced snap and it leaps from his fingers with a trail of white flame.
Hope you were watching, river rat.

All is a whirl of movement.
Driven back, Briar Rose has only one option and that is to channel raw Supernal power into her wounded Pattern. Flesh knits. Bleeding stops. The sheer power of her spell makes the Shaman catch her breath.
Winter is moving, firing. This time on target: a plume of... stuff... bursts from Wakko as the Guardian hobbles the Abyssal monstrosity before it can get away.
Star is moving, too. Fingers. Arm. Torso. The raspy flare of flames!
Wakko is clearly wounded. The flame limned card flashes across the Abyssal thing. Wound seared, cauterised.
Wakko splits in half: its upper torso plopping at Briar Rose's feet.
Oops! My bad about Initiative order.
I'm ruling Wakko is finished - it was at about 4ag/3L anyway. Besides, I want to start drawing things to a close before Winter has to go into confinement. This way there is a few more days to explore, pick up the icon, etc.
End of combat.

Catching her breath, she huffs, coughing. Hunching herself over, face close to Wakko's torso, she weezes, "...wait. Was...was there a fire?" she asks, looking at Wakko's torso, on her feet.
Shaking her head, she takes stalk of herself, and notes the feels her aches and pains that hadn't mended with her first fearful pass. The rent flesh that hadn't healed.
Calling on the Primal Wilds once more, she sighs, as everything but that which the Abyss had punched into her heals.
"What. The. Actual. Flying. Fuck. Was. That?]."

Soon the adrenaline will be flushed out of his system, before that though, he needs to ride the wave. He advances, putting another shot in the thing's head just to be sure, still ignoring whether there could be more.

"You alright?", he asks the girl. It's a dumb question, he reckons. The gun is still in his hand.
"I...I don't know", comes his curt reply to her question. Was the creature linked to the collapsed Demesne below? He felt something but gut instincts are hardly scientific evidence.

"Gonna guess an Abyssal intrusion? Except, like. That's just a guess. I'm no Abyss-ologist. Abyssalogist? Abylogist? Abyssalist?"
There's the other card, spinning on his finger as he walks over to the birds icon.
"Kinetic... card."
The flames ignite again, and he stabs the card down like a blade. Good-bye Lamentation Configuration.
Not sure if this requires a roll but it'll be a handful of Aggs to destroy the object.

Briar Rose is doing nothing more than breathing. In. Out. In. Out. A second healing spell sends treacly warmth through her limbs and midriff where most of the claw's had struck. Her clothes are shredded and she is covered in a layer of her own blood.
But Briar Rose is fine.
Star moves to clear the evidence. Long legs take the Illusionist across to where the icon has fallen and a few precise strikes dismember the painting in a magnesium flare flash of pure Art.
Only it doesn't.
Star's card's spin and ignite alright. They flare and flash as they arc down towards the painting.
The Mighty meets unexpected resistance.
Magical energies flash and pop.
An enchantment chimes as it shatters with an audible pop and a visible shockwave of dust and air.

Only to squint, and bring her arms up, talons flashing as Star's card nets a shockwave. Hope to not get any dust or other floaties in her eyes. Ick.
When things settle, she peers at the painting.

He barely has the time to react, step back and turn his head to the side, covering his nose and mouth with his forearm, before he's invested by the gust of wind and dust.
They slipped away from the realm of horror (hopefully) into the Indiana Jones franchise.
He coughs. Once, twice, three times. After years of being a chain smoker, he's lucky he's not spitting a lung.
But once the dust is settled, other things occupy his mind.
First he engages the safety of his gun, holstering the firearm, Star would be getting it back later that day. Second, after having evaluated the girl's state of partial undress, he attempts to disentangle himself from his own trenchcoat, handing it to the girl.
It's more for his own modesty than the girls' own.
Third... the icon.
"They were trying to form a Demesne, I believe", he chimes in. Of course, Demesne is unlikely to be the correct term. And that "they" is as generic as it comes.
