The bar that Ale was at was one she had frequented quite often. It had private rooms in the back, and for the right price, you could hold meetings in them. They were small, and nothing fancy, but they were private. And on more than one occasion she had done some business here. The owner was a shady guy, but he liked money, and Ale paid him well.
It wasn’t a flashy bar, but wasn’t a dive either. Just a regular bar that one might not look twice at. Alice would be directed to the back of the room, through the kitchen and to a door. There would be a knock, and it would open, allowing Alice and Lyssa to enter. If she didn’t want her Ghoul to enter, she would be treated to whatever she wanted to eat and drink.
Ale stands when Alice enters, quite casual in black jeans and black tank top, “Thanks for meeting up with me. It’s not the most glamorous place to met up, but I wanted us to be able to speak more freely. And quite frankly, I spend way too much time there."
