Ajax
Remembering his decorum and what was considered proper Court conversation Ajax realizes that Katrina was right, by no means did he want the flirting to stop but he had to put his best foot forward. Or best mouth forward. "The Night Watch books, yeah I've read them. They're pretty awesome but I wish that vampires got a better treatment in them. Still they're a good read and it's always interesting to learn more about the myths and stories of other cultures."

"I admit am a bit of a sucker for vampire movies." Katrina said not realising the pun. "Mostly I watch action movies and movies about gangs. I think Lock Stock and Two smoking barrels has got to be one of my all time favorites. That and Interview with a vampire. Thats probably strange?"
"Yeah, cool beans."
That made sense, she just wasn't in his "chain of command" so she could afford to be a little more affable. Best to just show respect and not irritate her anymore by acting like a...meth head was it?

Ajax
Interview With A Vampire? Ajax thought that movie was pretty lame but Katrina was a woman and the movie did star Brad Pitt, so maybe that had something to do with it. However Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was an absolute classic, so it seemed that Katrina had good tastes. "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was great and I liked Snatch too. However if you're looking for a good flick you can sink your fangs into I'd say Near Dark or maybe the Lost Boys if you can stomach both of the Corys at the same time. There is another movie called Shadow of The Vampire that was pretty decent too." What didn't need to be mentioned of course was that Ajax, always cheering for the vampires, usually felt that most vampire movies ended on a real downer.

"Lost boys was a great movie. The warriors was another good movie." Ajax clearly had the same taste in movies as Katrina. She had never been one for chick flicks a fact that suprised alot of people. "There are alot of great Russian gangster movies, I will have to see if i can get hold of a copy with subtitles."

"Or I could just learn Russian. I mean I'm all about learning as much as I can so why not put a bit of effort into something like that." Of course the fact that Katrina's first language was Russian might have something to do with it, but hey Big Evil was on a spiritual road and spiritual roads meant doing things to increase your knowledge and being open to new ideas and stuff like that.
Thomas O'Connor
Thomas thought for a second about what the Priscus had said about the Prince soon making a choice in the three way battle for the Sheriff position. He'd worked with Max and had a good impression of the Deputy and also felt that the Shadow Priscus would be excellent in the role. "I am sure that The Prince will make the right decision." Thomas believed that the Shadow Priscus would end up with the position. "I believe that either yourself or Deputy Heinz will end up with the position, but that is just my opinion."

"I can teach you if you want, I suppose it depends how much you want to learn. Speaking, reading and writing or both. Russian does not follow the same patterns as English. We have a different alphabet and the construction of sentences is vastly different. We do not have a word for hello or bye. We say be healthy or until meeting. I do not think it is going to be easy though, but if your up for it I will certainly teach you."
"Aight well, you know the rules of Elysium right. No Powers unless we are defending the Prince or the Keeper, except for the um... Mask? Your people can do that right? Hide your beasts?. Aight so thats that."
"Nother thing is that we can't have any weapons, you can check any you have there" she points at the coat check, "but ya cross that line with weapons and its your ass. K next on the adgenda, your a guest of the prince here so don't be a dick. So keep your voice down and don't be yelling and stuff. So thats the elysium. Now to the actual rules."
"KK, the Laws: We keep the Three Traditions, and if your a soul sucking bastard your not welcome." Jillian really needed to remember that whole no bad language thing. "Ya Can't hunt in the Domain without being acknowledged."
"Ya can't trash a Haven of a kindred that is in good standing with the prince."
"Only the Prince or his Seneschal can call a blood hunt, and if one is called your required to join the party."
"Only the Prince can let you kill another kindred." Jillian continues, "You know what Treason is? Yeah Don't do it. If you do expect to be a pile of Ash in short order."
"Don't Harass the Prince, if he is around keep a respectful distance and only approach him if called upon. If you need a one on one with the prince go through the seneschal. Ya can't blood bond with another kindred without the Prince's Okay."
"Ya can't Kill, Ghoul or Feed upon a Cop, Fire Fighter, EMT or anyone who works at a Hospital."
"Ya got a week to learn the Prince's Rules. If ya don't know them after a week, tough shit." There she goes again with the cursing. Jillian then remembers something and says "I think... yeah here you go." Jillian walks over to the bar area and finds a printed version of the Prince Clarke's Laws. "Here you go. Forgot we had these." Jillian hands the printed copy to Obe. "Don't take that with you by the way."
"So got all that?"

"Let us hope you are right. Though, it has always been difficult to predict much where Prince Clarke is concerned." He paused for a few seconds, giving the other Mekhet an appraising look as he seemed to contemplate...something.
"One last thing, Mr. O'Connor. Primogen Nagaraj has withdrawn considerably from politics within the domain since being awarded his Domain, understandable considering how busy it must keep him. So...you might wish to inform Harpy Maskelyne that I am offering you the appointment of Mekhet Whip."
"Cool, I think that's all I needed to know. If you don't mind I'll just wait here until the Seneschal is available again."
He looks around the room, giving the blue haired Kindred her space and watching the world coalesce into a safety net. No killing another Kindred without the Prince's sayso. That means me too. So just don't be a prick.
