"Yeah get us secured and when a new arrival comes in, lay down the law. Just because we are Savages doesn't mean we have to act like Assholes, animals yes, Assholes, not so much." Jilian said with a grin.
Thomas O'Connor
Thomas checks around to make sure that no one is listening in to what he is about to say. Satisfied that none of the other Kindred, Ghouls or Blood Dolls could hear him, he speaks. "This would concern you both as Harpy of the Domain and Prefect of the Carthian Movement. Can I speak frankly here?" Thomas knew that Ciara probably had a good idea of what he had to tell her but the Mekhet was approaching her in both of her roles and felt that she should hear about what happened from a fellow Carthian who was there.

*Ciara nods once again, turning on a high heel and looking over her shoulder at Thomas.* Walk with me, Mr O'Conner? *She asks in a soft voice; then heads off a little ways away from the main grouping. Once satisfied they were alone as they could be in Court, she turns back to Thomas.* Tell me, Mr O'Conner; what is it that has you distressed?
Thomas O'Connor
"Micheal Hall suffered the final death during a fight at the Wildlife Bypass in the Barren's area of the city. He and Amos were investigating that outbreak of a bizarre illness in the city and had come across a lead that pointed to Capitol Park as a common location among a number of the kine who were treated for the outbreak. Wyatt and I joined their investigation at this point and while at the Park Mr. Hall and myself spoke to some of the homeless. They told us that everyone who slept down at the Bypass ended up sick, this was called into the previous Seneschal, Mr. Staley, who had given Amos and Michael the mission in the first place." He pauses for a moment before getting to the next part of the story.
"Regent Culler came out to the scene in his capacity as a Deputy of the Domain and he, Amos, Michael Hall and myself went out to see what we could find at the Bypass. We found another group of ill homeless and as Amos approached the group with his beast masked our group was ambushed by a Kindred, the suspected Morbus. Mr. Hall suffered the final death, Regent Culler and I lost our right hands but we able to send the Morbus into Torpor. I didn't get much of a look at the Kindred before Regent Culler took the body away but it was a dark haired woman." Thomas again takes a moment to collect his thoughts.
"That was not the only incident that took place there, when the Morbus attacked, the ill homeless turned into creatures that attacked us. On one of them it was almost as if it's hand melted right to the bone which became as sharp as a knife. These were not like the Lizard creatures others have reported in the city but they were ghouls. I've come to you because I really want something good to come of what happened up there and I don't know the political situation in the city well enough to really know what to do in this situation."

"Forget about assholes and animals, I prefer another A word. When we get things up and going the Gangrel Clan in this city is going to be Awesome. The biggest collection of bad asses this town has ever seen."

Lenny listened quietly as Martha approached and spoke to Thomas also noting the return of the Keeper and the blue-haired girl. He didn't have to check his watch to know that only a handful of minutes had passed. Eliminating the obvious it really only left two possible topics of discussion.
There was much movement though as people scrambled to talk to one another which was something he didn't care for preferring one on one interaction.
Slipping away, he retrieve hi coat and left to ponder what he'd seen and heard.
"Alcoholics?" Jillian asked, "Because we can't drink anymore. kinda makes a mess, blood bile gore all that shit comes back up." Jillian said with a smile figuring the big Savage knew this already and would hopefully get her joke.

"I would highly recommend nibbling on a hot stripper after she has had a few shots of Old Number 7, but that's neither here nor there. I think awesome is a good word to use. You know one thing that always bothered me about back East is that us Gangrel were always working for someone. We were mercs or bodyguards or goons or hell all of the above. I don't mind doing a job if it's something that I want to do or hell even working for somebody as long as it's my own choice. But it would be nice if we could band together and work for ourselves."

Martha smiled gratefully to Thomas as he offered his congratulations on her recent promotions and smiled cheerfully as he offered his thoughts on events and excused himself to talk to the Harpy. Nodding to Thomas as he wanders off...she catches a brief glimpse of Lenny leaving. He had seemed so gregarious when she first met him, this act of almost sneaking away provoked a few questions in her mind. Finds herself rubbing at her lame thigh as she smiles to those remaining nearby - eager to converse.
"Yeah not the Gangrel I ran with. We would do work to make some scratch but we weren't beholden to anyone but each other. If we had work we had work. If we didn't we were still able to support ourselves. We were not looking for handouts." Jillian says, "And that's the way its gonna be for us man. You just wait."
