Betony Rue glared after the monkey climbing a tree when he should be tending the Kincaid boy. She knew he shouldn't have been trusted with the task.
When the cars arrived she gathered them both in her arms and took them over to Derek's car. She placed the Kincaid boy and the Crandall girl in back. She seated herself in the middle after buckling them up.
Once the children have been all squared away, seated in the car and buckled in, Grrface finds a spot in one of the vehicles and sits down for the first time in hours. The muscles in his legs ache dully, but he's learned to enjoy the results of a long period of exercise.
Al-Adin notices that everyone has gotten into a car, so he scrambles back down and then into Derek's car.
Arch pulled her car up, facing the opposite way from Derek's, so the two drivers could talk. What next? Any more cars to pick up?
"We'll go to the boarding house," Betony says "I don't have a vehicle." and she was pretty sure Al-Adin didn't even know how to drive.
"The police still need to be informed of the two at the bus station."
Betony Rue absently combed hair.
"We'll be needing to renew our pledge before we continue, so come by the boarding house later if you wish to continue to help.
"If there is nothing else, these children need care," she stated that indicated anyone should speak now or at least hurry it up.
Arch gets the boarding house address, offers to drive any who need rides, and takes off. (Thistle: please open a new thread regarding Betony's boarding house home, and describe what we see.)
