The walk is long, just a little smoggy. But somewhat relaxing. Once Kutya'i passes by the park and reaches the museums he feels a little more at home. The steps of the museum loom ahead and Kutya'i steps up them and in through the heavy copper-plated front doors.
"Hello, welcome to the Fillard Goldman museum. May I help you?" The receptionist asks politely.

Kutya'i put his arms on the counter and leaned in to speak with the receptionist in a low voice "Well I certainly hope you can. I'm trying to make contact with Dr. Primoria, or someone on her staff to check in."

Ana is noticeably uncomfortable, she likes it when people stay on their side of the counter.
"Mr Kutya'i? Well, yes. I think Phrymides is around. You can find her in the offices. They're around the corner to the left and beyond the bathroom. I'm sorry you can't meet with Tyria or Starling, but like I said, today has been hectic."

Kutya'i pulls back when he notices the discomfort in Ana's eyes. "Oh no problem, I'm sure we'll run into each other at some point. Behind the restrooms, you say? Then I'll just head that direction then."

Kutya'i makes the turn down the hall and it takes him around the exhibit rather than through. Passing the public restroom, he sees a door that indicates it is not to be opened by visitors.
He steps in.
"Hey, hi. I'm sorry this is such a mess. Do you mind sitting down for a second so we can clean up a little?"
A woman and a young man desperately try to resort binders and folders which have been spilled out onto the floor. They are throwing papers into stacks haphazardly, but the stacks seem to always fall in order, and oriented together.
Note: I would think someone has already take Eva Green for a character photo. Give me a heads up if that's the case.

Oh that's neat, Kutya'i thinks as he stops where he is and starts scrutinizing whatever magic they are working with. He guesses t might be Fate, but he has so little experience with it that it would be best to check.

Kutya'i smiles at the news. "Good." Then he shrugs at the interest in his lodgings Oh, I managed fine. It's not like I had bags and bags of things to unpack in any case. I think I'm supposed to get a roommate at some point actually. I've been running around so much for the last year that I'm more used to a tent than an apartment.

"Well that's good. A couple of things we should go over first. Tyria is in charge, but she's always swamped, so Starling does most of the managing. You'll meet both of them before long. Also watch out for Sleepers when you're casting spells. I know, seems obvious but sometimes even the best of us forget." Her expression is slightly pained at this admission.
"Also, we're telling everyone to be careful when they're on their own. There are Banishers in town, they've attacked a couple of Apostates so far but who knows if they've got worse plans coming up. Ummmm... there's got to be something else I'm forgetting. Do you have any questions so far though?"

Kutya'i cocks his head to the side in an oddly birdlike motion. "Well, as questions go, could you give me an idea of what areas have been 'claimed' by mages? I wouldn't want to go wandering around town and blunder into any security wards while I'm in feathers or anything, people might get the idea that the Mystagogues are spying on them." He doesn't particularly care about any other kind of supernatural creature's territory markers, and wouldn't be all that interested obeying them anyway. "Also, you guys wouldn't happen to have any spare sets of robes laying around, would you? If I have to check in in a hurry I'll probably end up flying in, and while I don't really mind walking around without clothes all that much, it can be distracting when it happens in public places."
"I'd be happy to investigate the park. You wouldn't have any clue as to what the strange things going on there are, would you?"

"Well, I wouldn't really call very much claimed. I know the Arrows are up Northwest somewhere, on the other side of the river. Most of the Ladder pretty much sticks to the Bismark, where you and a lot of other people are staying. The Council guys I think spend most of their time around the College and the University trying to bring in the Apostates. Who knows where the Guardians are at. Some of them are out west we think."
"Most places are warded up already, and pretty much as long as you don't try to go into a building that's marked as a sanctum you're alright."
What else did he ask me, Phrymides wonders. Oh yes!
"Right, we can just throw some clothes up in the loft area for you. No one goes up there unless they're changing exhibits."
"As for the park... well there's been some weird spirits acting up over there. Really it's the Guardians who are worried about it. They requested one of us to head up and you know, give a second opinion. Most of us are crazy busy though. You'd be working with some Guardian guy named Polo."

Most of the ones we were dealing with had died off or been eaten by more modern ones, so it wasn't as much of a priority as some other things I learned. So if we run up against any bad spookies, I'm probably not going to be able to wave my hands and make them calm down. Before I go, could you show me the Loft? "

Phrymides leads Kutya'i up a flight of stairs to the second story exhibit.
Look
at
that
butt as she goes. Her skirt just hugs it, damn.
Not cool, keep your eyes to yourself.
She points Kutya'i through a closed staff door. She'll need to give him a key later.
The room is full of covered exhibits and artifacts. It's very clean. A large window illuminates the loft.
"Everything up here needs to be protected from the elements, so we'll probably move it all into the main store room. But you'll be coming in through there I guess. Most of the time I think it's better to walk though."

Phrymides excuses herself. She's still got plenty of work to get done today.
So this Polo guy will probably get in touch when he's ready to go. Until then, Kutya'i is fairly free to explore the city as long as he's careful or follows the buddy system.

Kutya'i does not keep his eyes to himself, cause he's spent the last year covered in dust while the only female companionship to be had was either to tired or charging him.
Besides, in his opinion there's never been any harm just in looking. It's not like he's going to sneak up and pinch it or anything... even though it looks eminently pinchable.
"I think I'd like that," he said in reference to drinks later, and then he holds the door open for Phrymides' exit. He noses around the room, looking to see inf there is anything interesting being stored up here, while he figures out his next move. He finally decides to head back to the hotel/apartment to see if a roomate had shown up yet, and get some top ramen made before getting a bird's eye view of the city.
