Arch stirred sleepily next to Stone. Her red hair was sprayed all over her back and the pillow. She half-opened her eyes, not realizing where she was at first. Then she saw Stone, awake and smiling and remembered the previous night.
Well, I must have done something right for him to smile so.
Smiling, she moved closer to him and looked into eyes.
"Well, good mornin'. I must say, tis a nice way to wake up."

He traced a finger across her bare skin under the covers.
Indeed it is...
His smile was warm and honest.
Sadly I cant stay in bed all afternoon with your beautiful self as much as I would like to do nothing else. I have a business meeting that requires my presence...and I need to pick up a package before hand. I would like the option to have a repeat performance however with you...
He rolled overtop of her, nuzzling at her neck playfully before pushing up.
I still owe you dinner out... Room service may be nice... but I still need to have the chance to show you off in public better.
He winked at her, tickling his hand at her inner thigh as he moved to get out of the bed and get dressed.

The address noted on the note Stone received last night indicates a building off of Industrial Boulevard. That's practically on the other side of town.
A note that had been slipped through his mail slot sometime before he arrived home last night contains the location of the Arrow meeting and a time: 10:30.
Shit, it's closer to Stone's apartment than it is to Industrial. He'll have to backtrack half the damn city.
If he doesn't take longer than a half hour or so to get ready, he could still make it on time.

Arch purred when he nuzzled her neck. She sat up as he got dressed, watching him for a minute.
Yes, definitely a repeat performance, Arch smiled as she slid out of Stone's bed. She found her bra and underwear scattered along the clothes piled up on his floor. Shaking her head, she hunted for her jeans as she spoke.
"Yes, we'll definitely have to go out again. I must say I enjoyed myself. 'Tis to bad we can't spend more time together today. But I to have duties I must attend to," Arch found her jeans and pulled them on, "ye know where to reach me."
Arch found her shirt after a few minutes of hunting and pulled that on. She looked around the room for her shoes. She gave up after a few minutes.
"Any idea where me shoes are?"

Shoes? hmm?
He let his mind focus letting his otherworldy vision stretch out and scan the area as he looked for the possible location of the shoes. He got the strange feeling it was beyond a simple case of just being misplaced.
He found himself muttering outloud in Spirit Tongue - "Okay whoever took the shoes fess up, not mad, but we need them back....."
He might be speaking to complex for whatever it was but it could be worth a shot.

The apartment building is fairly new, and has little presence in the spirit world.
Although there are traces of activity noticeable amidst the blank starkness of the room. A voluptuous spirit of passion was drawn towards your bed from who knows where and rolls in ecstasy over your sheets. It's misty pink appendages drink deeply of last night's soft moans still trapped in between the covers.
Off in the corner, a fat brown spirit slumbers. He is barely visible any more, a memory of the blue collar men who built this place from steel and stone and drywall.
Of course, the TV stares at you hungrily, but you know better to mess with one of those damned things.
And finally, aha! You hear a frightened whimper from under the bed.
Looking down, you see a tiny thing hiding in the shadows. Like a blue manta ray with remarkably expressive eyes, it lies over Arch's stolen shoes with a desperately sad possessiveness.

He laid down on the floor, looking at it.
He continued to speak in Spirit tongue softly at it.
~ Well Hello little one... did you take the pretty ladies shoes? ~
He looked at the spirit curiously as he tried to determine what it was and its possible obsession with the shoes.

Arch watched Stone get down onto the floor and look under the bed.
How nice of him. He's really trying to find them for me. But they are probably by the front door, Arch smiled and turned to go look in the front room when she heard Stone start talking. Turning back around, she realized he wasn't talking to her. First, he wasn't speaking English or anything close resembling a language she had ever heard. Second, he was talking to something underneath the bed.
Tilting her head, Arch wondered how quickly she could make a graceful exit. That's when he told her a pregnant spirit was using her shoes as nesting material.
A pregnant spirit? That's not something you run into everyday. Well at least he's not nuts. That would have been a damn shame.
Arch wondered if she really needed her shoes. Granted, she liked that pair-a lot-but she could always buy another.
"Well, I think her need outweighs me own. i can always buy another pair of shoes. If she be needin' a nest, then she can have 'em."

Stone glanced up at her as she spoke, then back at the spirit.
~Looks like your getting off on this one...Ask me next time little one? I'll get you a pair of your own so you dont need to steal my pretty friends next time~
He pushed himself back up to his feet, as he finished getting dressed. He didnt have alot of free time because of the package he needed to pick up. Shame the drive was so far. He had hoped he could have tried to catch breakfast with her.
He walked over and slipped an arm around her.
Sorry about your shoes... We'll take you shopping get you a new pair. Good excuse to get you out for that dinner. I have to get leaving though to pick up this package. I'll give you a call in a day or two after I see what business keeps me occupied with around the city..
He smirked looking down at her bare feet.
Think you'll survive getting to your car or you need me to carry you down?
He winked.

Arch frowned. She hadn't thought of that.
"Umm, I don't have a car, remember? I took a cab," Arch smiled at Stone, "but I should be ok. Can not be to difficult to get a cab this time of day, and they are used to shoeless people, me thinks. Ai, don't worry about me-I have walked around barefoot before."
Arch picked up her purse from the coffee table and stepped close to Stone. She peered up at him, smiling. She slipped her hand around his neck and pulled his head close to hers, their lips inches apart.
"Trust me, I'll live. And seeing as how it was your spirit that took me shoes, you be owing me a new pair."

His voice seemed to purr as he looked at her eyes.
You know....you get new shoes... probably means you'll be needing a new dress to match.... Which just means something else I get to undress you out of again next time..
He closed the final gap, pressed his lips against hers. He'd probably get the Lust spirit's attention again over on the bed with it too. He let the Fate threads wrap around her as he pulled her in closer.
