The Neidan pull up in front of a beautiful hotel, close enough to smell the river.
Interestingly enough, it smells much better from here than it did when they were hopping into it.
A smartly dressed young man greets them as they pull up. (And presumably roll down their window)
"Mr Cartright will be meeting with you in the conference room on the 9th floor. You just take the elevator up and then it will be down the hall to your right. I'll park the car if you like."

The lobby is roomy and well furnished. A mini bar is located to the right, couches and seats to the left. The receptionist stands ready to turn away customers, and the Elevators are located on the East wall.
They ride the burnished brass vehicle up, noticing that its buttons are made from silver.
The mahogany conference door on the 9th floor swings open to a room decorated lavishly with cedar and real Persian carpets.
"Come on in." Peter Cartright requests. He stands next to a roaring flame sipping from a glass of gin.
((Note: Peter Cartright just got AWESOME))

Kai waits for the others to introduce themselves, and then for Mr. Cartright to motion before taking a seat.

Peter quickly gets himself back on subject, as the cracklin fire throws shifting shadows across the room. Eerie outlines against the wall, restless murmurs of the dead.
"So we have a few things to talk about. First of all I think you'll agree that the city needs a good plan to deal with these Banishers. Especially with whatever that party thing is coming up. And of course, I'm here to help any way I can."

West resisted an inward urge to sigh. He wondered if there would be forms to fill out for personal spells. He couldn't blame the man for wanting to be kept 'in the loop', though, if the city was his responsibility.
"Right now the plan is to try to bait them out at the college, which seems to be one of their favorite targets. We'll use one of us as bait while the Kruegans protect the other possible targets and act as reinforcements, if necessary." West explained.

Then reminded of the need to move briskly, he claps his hands together in emphasis and continues while his wrinkled hands fish glasses from an elegant cherry wood cabinet.
"So how can we help? Dex mentioned we might need to put a couple more sets of boots on the ground. Do we want to put the Guardians on this?"

"I do not want the guardians involved. At all. But we could use your help. I would appreciate if you could coordinate with Dex to make sure that every known apostate is covered. I would like our two scouting for lone unknowns, and be able to call in reinforcements to cover them once found. Is this something you can arrange?"
Kai was pretty happy with formulating this plan on the fly...it allowed him to remain anonymous except to West and Ankh once he was there, as well as hopefully cover some of the unknowns .

It might be a tempting target if the Banishers realize we're focused on the college." Better to give them something to do before they find something to do themselves. Ankh stood up and began to wander around. She was bored, extremely bored. She had done nothing that would consitute as fun since going to Avalon with West and Kai.
She was tired of listening to stuffy old men babble about things she did not fully understand. She was tired of being in meetings with people who were supposed to be superrior to her in some way. She was tired of giving respect to people who had not earned it in her mind. At least, they had not earned her respect. She could care less about the rest of the Mage community. Hell, was there even a "rest of the Mage community"? She'd only met Kai and West and a few others. Oh and that weird chick in the mall.
This was rediculous. Were they going to get this show on the road or sit around and talk about it all day? She gave West a look that clearly stated she was done.
