A dossier with up to date information on the Banishers has been delivered to the Neidan Mansion.

They seem to subscribe to some strange religious belief that's vaguely Judeo-Christian. The leaders we think are either a married couple, or consider themselves a symbolic couple. We have reason to believe that they are located somewhere southeast of Sacramento, but we aren't entirely sure. They have staged several unsuccessful attacks on Pentacle held sites last year, but we are established in the city again. They appear unwilling to risk direct confrontation, but have attacked several Apostates, and now an Apprentice Mystagogue as well. Several attacks on Apostates were preceded by an attempt to conscript them into the cult, so we know they are trying to expand. The total death toll has been two Apostates, three Pentacle retainers, and an estimated 7 Sleeper bystanders. |
Notification of an upcoming meeting scheduled with Cartright has also been delivered.

The dossier also contains several of the eyewitness accounts of the attacks.
A young dark haired woman who shot a Mystagogue in broad daylight without warning.
A young man dressed like a door to door evangelist who tried to convince an Apostate to turn from Satan. After failing to convince them, he turned violent and tried to stab her with a kitchen knife before running away when Sleepers arrived.
An older woman with indistinct features who invades the dreams of Apostates threatening them with damnation.
A man who set fire to 2 apartments. Reports state that he shouted that it was punishment for witchcraft. He does not appear alone, usually accompanied by another cultist.
The last young woman reportedly has been dispelling sanctum enchantments. She has not been spotted directly participating in any of the attacks yet.

They exclusively attack lone mages now. A tactic that we have considered would be to use one of our members as bait, disguising their aura to make them appear less proficient. We could have back up hidden on hand, or ported in when they attack.
