Doctor Roberts finds the apartment building. It's not the best neighborhood, and the building itself is a little run down and ratty. One button on the buzzer panel has a scratched out label, it's for a room on the top floor.
As good as any, Roberts presses is hoping it was the correct one.
"Doc, that you?" Comes a voice over the com.

"Ok, swinging down to get you."
The elevator creaks into action. Two inconspicuously dressed people peer out at Roberts once it has arrived at the bottom floor. Motioning Roberts in, they press the button for the top floor and begin their assent.
Roberts gets a better look at the two Arrows.
The first young man is robustly black, the sensuous color of roasted coffee beans. The only hair on his head, he wears on his face; a trim beard and slick mustache.
The woman has been less fairly treated by her genes and lifestyle. She is heavily pockmarked, and the right side of her neck and ear were scarred by fire long ago. But her eyes are bright with intelligence, and her face set with resolution. She is a light olive color, maybe of Hispanic descent?
They do not speak as they lead Roberts to roof access, and then into the glass structure of the Greenhouse.

"Go ahead and sit wherever you'd like, Doc." The temporary head of the Arrows offers. He sips a glass of scotch as he folds up a map of Sacramento, to give Roberts his full attention.
"Tell me what we've got going on here."

A young mage, who I later learned was part of the Mysterium, came into the hospital today after being shot, after I had managed to stabilize him he briefly regained consciousness and said something that made me suspect that he was a mage. I then had him taken to a ward and cast a healing spell on him. It was at this point that he regained consciousness and told me about the banisher attack.

"Well, shit. People are going to come knocking on our door before long to fix this. If one of the Mystagogues got hit, the city will be up in arms."
Dex's voice is gravelly and disheartened. His heavy chest falls as a deep breath escapes his lungs.
Man I'm getting too old for this, Dex worries.
"Doc, let me fill you in on what's been going on. We've just recently had... some changes in leadership. It's not going to be long before they send in someone new to take over, but until then it's up to us to keep making patrols."
"Our biggest problem is those Banishers. Five of them. Mostly they only attack the younger ones, and only when they're by themselves."
"They killed an Apostate a month or two back. It was ugly. So needless to say, we could use all the help we can get."
Dex manages a craggly smile. "Welcome to the team."

"Actually, it's been awhile since we've had a field doctor with us. So that's a real big benefit right there."
Dex sits deep in thought.
"I think the main thing we can do is put you on patrol. Say some time this weekend, you can head out with Maria or Kaa or Grendel or me. We'll make a clean sweep through town, make sure the spots that we have people at are safe."
"How about we get a number to reach you at, and a day that'd be best for you."
