I'm a little bored at work, so I'm trawling about this board right? So I get to thinking, what's one of the more fun things about playing Mage, and for me a big part is thinking of new spells.
So... my idea is to have people post spells that your character would be likely cast, based on their personality, habits, and the limits of their Arcana.

A mage with a respectable understanding of Prime Arcana learns to weave ambient magickal energy into ephemeral phantasms and illusions.
But these creations have little solidity, and are little more than the stuff of dreams given physical form.
But a spellcaster who performs this ritual grasps the very stuff of phantasms as if it were loose fibre, and spins it into actual physical matter.
Although the resulting thread may appear at first to be indistinguishable from normal material, magickal scrutiny reveals its phantasmal origin and the thick resonances that it was comprised of.
With threads of this nature, a Mage might weave a tapestry the artistry of which can only be truly appreciated through supernatural perceptions.
