Martin holds the elevator, waiting. As the Mekhet approaches he asks, "What the hell's up with that? We come all this way, get dismissed after just a few minutes, and meanwhile Icarus lets Zen stick around. Ace didn't even know her before we got to this building." He's upset, but at least smart enough to keep his voice down.

*OOC: Since I'm already in another scene I'm not even sure that I'm allowed to post here...but I suppose I will find out lol.

I noticed that. I do not pretend to know what is going on around here yet, but suffice it to say that Ace is not exactly the most experienced Kindred in Sacramento, and probably hasn't been here too terribly long. Why else would he be playing messenger boy, transporting around two strangers such as ourselves. I would also suspect that his general mistreatment of us comes from a sort of "Omega complex". He is most likely the low man on the totem pole around here and saw us as an opportunity to play Alpha Male with someone who he didn't figure could or would do much about it. So, I suspect that while he may not know Zen, that she is not neccessarily new here.
