She then stares at the table top, head bowed, figuring it is better to say nothing than to add to her Sire's fury.

Seraphina watches the exchange between sire and childe and realizes that the ventrue of this city still have flaws to overcome and she may be of some use here. On the inside she was making mental notes of everything she saw the people she would now call family which led her thoughts to a box in her home and as quickly as the thought came to her she shoved it to the side that would not enter her mind tonight she would not alow it to runin her first evening out in a new city.
Seraphina remained silent waiting for the meeting to get underway and mentaly taking note of al that was going on around her she would get a feel for this city before she started her mission of cleaning up the kindred around the city.

First Meeting of the Lords in a new city, and of course, he's late. Could be worse. He could not show at all.
Stepping into the room was a young man seemingly twenty-one years of age, dressed in a breezy black Tommy Bahama shirt, loose beige slacks, and a pair of high end sandals that probably cost quite a bit more than they looked like they were worth. Midnight blue eyes and sandy blond hair, a bounce to his step and far too human grin on generous features.
He's the kind of person who stands out in a crowd, just because of that blinding smile.
He tries to come in quietly, and mostly succeeds save the fact that his Beast doesn't inspire fear or even anger. It's just there, like a lazy lion yawning in it's cage as opposed to pacing angrily.
It's there, and obvious. It just isn't...offensive.
"Forgive me. We've just arrived in town and I was seeing to a few essentials. My name is Taquin Talon. Psy.D. Of the Ordo Dracul."
Otherwise, he remains quiet. Listening. Learning.
Trying to keep up and deduce what he's missed.

Making his way to the head of the table, Asa waited for everyone to sort out how they would sit.
"Thank you all for coming, and I'm glad to see so many new family members. I'm Asa Clarke, your Priscus." He indicated Lioni and Quinton. "These are the Lords Lioni Dupree and Quinton Jones." Asa took his seat. "Please present yourselves to us."
Asa looked expectantly, curious to see who would speak first.

Taquin took that as his cue, standing not bothering to open take his laptop out of it's case, as he was sure that'd be seen as rude until after he'd introduced himself.
"As I stated prior, I am Taquin Andreas Talon of the Ordo Dracul, Childe of Miguel Locas Covas, Hierophant of the Circle of Tezcatlipoca in Mexico City, Childe of Beatriz Quadros Roca, Childe of Vinicio Peralta de Mosquera."
He then took his seat, awaiting the others.

Nicolo grinned at the Kindred, not bothering to stand up to introduce himself but slipped his arm casually over the back of his chair as he leaned back and loudly and confidently said in a thick, Italian accent, "Buona sera tutto, I am Nicolo Giovanni Rossi of the Lancea Sanctum, recently come to Sacramento from Rome. Childe of Cardinal Paolo Imperioli, Childe of Archbishop Giacomo Imperioli."
He finished and waited for the next introduction.

Aurelie looks wary of her sire, flinching at the first bit of sound from her mouth thinking it will be a reprimand then relaxes a little when she realizes it isnt.
"I am Miss Aurelie D'Or, childe of Alder Lady Au Pair Lioni Dupree, Esteemed member of the House Millar." she murmurs, finding Nicolo's gaze from across the table, wishing she had some way to give him her phone number, rather fascinated with Lancea Sanctum, and terrified of Invictus.

Seraphina stands quietly in the midst of all the other ventrue who seem to be very proud of their lineage and her introduction seems to be lacking something in her mind comparatively speaking but she spouts it out any way with an air of confidence "I am Seraphina and have served The Movement proudly for a good many years" she takes a brief moments pause to look around the room before continuing "I have just arrived to town in the last few days it seems that my lineage is not quite so impressive as some in this room as I am uncertain where it lies" she figures that's a good enough introduction for now and retakes her seat she will get the particulars later of where she can find the head of The Movement here and maybe an idea on place to settle herself into.

Scorn. Oh, scorn. Martin knows better than to say anything at his first meeting with the Blood, but the look on his face makes it obvious what he thinks of a Lord who knows not her family line: this one here, she's no better than one of the Gangrel.And a Carthian, to boot. Well. I suppose there's a bad apple in every tree.
The expression on his face fades quickly, lest it be noticed and called out. No need to make a scene here, tonight. There will be other times to let her know her place.

Antoinette is amazed that such a creature calls herself a Ventrue. Just look at the tacky, whorish way she is dressed! Disgusting. And then, no lineage to speak of... she's probably not even recognized in the city yet. But Antoinette glances over to Baron Quinton to gage his reaction first, always her barometer of what is appropriate, before she creates her final judgment.

Asa noticed the looks that some gave Seraphina and noted those faces. No doubt he would receive similar with the Invictus.
"Thank you all. For those that are new and have yet to be Acknowledged, please stay afterward and we'll get that taken care of. Now for events taking place in the city that are worth discussing.
The first is that the attacks on the city continue. For those new faces, what are suspected to be nomadic vigilantes have been killing Kindred either by Mandragora or simply shooting them. Consider not traveling alone." Asa paused, wishing there were more to say --something positive-- but there wasn't, and that was the truth of the matter.
"The second item is that Gabriel Marcus, Daeva of the Carthian Movement, has been declared under Bloodhunt. If anyone doesn't know, Gabriel is not only a member of the Carthians, but the head of said Covenant." Asa waited for that to digest, watching Seraphina in particular.
"Finally, we have some family members launching endeavors which should be noted and supported. Miss Antoinette," Asa nodded in her direction, "is having a fashion show at the Asylum for her Lash line on the ninth. In a few days Neil Coben," Asa nods to him, "will be opening this establishment to the public."
Asa looked at Lioni and Quentin. "Lady Dupree, Lord Jones, is there anything you wish to add or ask before we continue with an open discussion and questions?"

Seraphina did not ignore the looks cast upon her after she took her seat again but rather kept those faces ingrained in her mind my lineage is none of there damn business anyway it is always better to pretend to not know then to have others know you are from a fanatical sire who had more flaws then you could count. as Seraphina mused over things to herself she herd the Carthian Movement mentioned and put her full attention to Asa and as he explained that the head of The Movement was under bloodhunt the utter shock showed on her face no wonder others looked at me with disgust at the mention of my covenant I guess I have my work cut out for me in this city to bring the good name of The Carthians back to the forefront well at least the man was Daeva and I don't have to try and attone the clan in the eyes of The Movement as wel. Seraphina once again lost herself to her thoughts of what needed to be done and started to formulate a plan of attack in her mind.

As Lioni had noticed the looks Saraphina had gotten, she felt the need to speak up and clarify something to the rest of these mongrels. Granted, her line was pure and she knew where her blood came from, but she also knew her line was tainted. Not many Ventrue would even accept her or her sire as one of them. The Mistress was well known for her insanity and little else. It was unfair for those assembled to stain Saraphina with the stamp of trash before even giving her the chance to show them what she was made of.
"Yes, as a matter of fact, I do." Lioni says, standing. "I want it known and understood that Gabriel Marcus is under Bloodhunt for the crimes of being a serial killer and major breeches of the Masquerade. I also want it known that his actions do not, in any way reflect upon the rest of the Carthian Movement. And, as we have an Unaligned Prince, they are still very welcome in this city."
As she speaks, she galares at those who had given Saraphina the dirty looks.
Poor, sad, Ventrue. You do not show your disgust to those beneath you. You use them to your advantage. She thinks, as she smiles and returns to her seat.

"Indeed," Asa said. He was glad to see that Seraphina had made the connection that the Bloodhunt meant a vacuum of power and opportunity for her. It would be fun to watch the others realize the same, especially those that had given a possible future Covenant head looks of disdain.
"Saving general questions about integrating into the city for later," he continued, "Does anyone have anything to ask? Or add? Perhaps information or personal items of note that we might need to know, or find useful?"
He hoped they weren't all a handful of Hokvols or posturing peacocks. Although the Priscii could use a Hound, it wasn't worth mentioning because he doubted any of them would want --or be cabable of-- the position.

Lioni quirks an eyebrow.
Brass balls? Or sheer stupidity? She wonders idly as she turns her attention to Martin.
"I find it interesting that you would be the one to ask such a question, Mr. Carpenter. But, we will get to that next. First, Mandragora is a plant. A Ghouled plant. It will eat you and is generally nailed, tossed, or found in your home or haven or your covenents place of meeting at random. If you should see one, I would suggest burning it immediately, along with the building if necessary."
She looks at Asa to see if he is in agreement with this statement.
"Now, as for your second question. The Prefect's position is not yet forfeit as he is not yet dead. When he is dead, I am sure the Carthians will have their meeting and come to that decision. Now, I do understand that you would like to have one of our own be placed as head. However, as you are new, unacknowledged, and show obvious disdain for the person in question, I hardly think it is any of your business."

Seraphina did her best to hide the shock of Martin's question but didn't quite make it hopefully no one would notice or if they did would not draw attention to it. When Lioni stepped forward to what seemed like defend her it was also quite shocking she couldn't remember the last time someone stood up for her. Seraphina decided it was best to just sit there and bide her time no one had directed a question at her but more about her and for the time being that was fine she had learned through the years subtlety often worked better than balls to the wall tactics.
