Erika simply nods, and walks over to the table, setting the journal down, and sliding her hands across the gun, concentrating on it. She frowns, and closes her eyes, holding the gun like it was made of precious jewels.

Erika's hands seem to visibly shake as she holds the gun, and a few moments later it drops the few inches to the table as she falls backward, almost overwhelmed by the strength of what she saw.
"Large building, whistle every four hours...stuck in a rack. Something about breathing fire, and the joy of its burn....and then a loathing of the display. Long periods of darkness, something about the unwanted..discarded from height, crashing to the ground, melting..."
She looks visibly shaken, but continues,
"Wrapped in loving hands, soft cushions. Then coming to life, feeling the body form around the soul..."

Rahyna quickly moves up behind Erika as she seems to fall backwards and then she listens intently to what is said. With some concern in her voice she asks "Are you OK Mrs. Brady?"
Whistles and bells and darkness and fire geeze what is this a Disney movie gone bad loveing arms have nothing to do with darkness and fire and self loathing maybe once we get the answer it will make more sense.

"Uh, I don't mean to sound like a nay sayer here, but did that make any sense to anybody else? Cause, it sounds like what I got too, but at the same time, totally different."

Erika pulls herself up, and steadies herself against the table. "It doesn't make much sense, but it gives us a location. A large building, with something that whistles or rings out every four hours. It might help to know that I think I know who we're dealing with."
She reaches over to the journal, and turns to the bookmarked page. "A Sheriff who was into the occult, out in Alabama, ran across eight nomads who were simply spreading havok. He killed two of them, and when they died, plants burst out of them, just like these." She flips through the pages and finds another bookmarked page, "They're weak in blood and power, but have much knowledge of the Circle's rituals, and at least one of them is knowledgeable in plant lore."

Nicolo took a stab. "I know it was sort of the same, but it conjured a little bit different image to me. Almost like a factory. I might imagine a whistle blowing every four hours, like work shifts. And I don't know... guns are forged from metal? Which would require fire and intense heat to become molten. The creation might be joyful to the object?" Nicolo couldn't believe he was saying this, but he thought about his bambino being hand made in Maranello, and perhaps it wasn't so far off.
"And the rest just seems like the journey we know of. After the firearms were discharged, they were thrown to the ground near the body, and they were near the fire that burned Emma to ashes, hence the melting. As for loving hand and soft cushions? I don't know – Twist and Kalos picking up the evidence and carefully keeping it for us to look at?"
Nicolo shrugged a bit. It was a guess anyway.

Bella turns to Nicolo with a smile. She gives a little clap for him, jumps up and kisses him.
"You are brilliant!"
She turns to the others. "That's exactly what I was thinking. Ok, so I think the part we need to look at is where they were held right before Emma's shooting. The only problem with that is, the gun said it was dark for a long time. So, that doesn't give us much to go on. Unless that was the travel time."
She thinks for a moment, then looks at Erika motioning to the book. "Where did you get that anyway?"

"I collect such things. I have quite a lot of old tomes, books, journals..study anything for one hundred years, you pick up quite a bit." she shrugs, and closes the journal, before nodding to Nicolo, "I wonder if there are any gun part factories here in town..Mrs. Scotts might know, she deals with that sort."

Something was bothering Nicolo though. "You know, when you think about it carefully, if they were already stuck or stored in a rack, that might imply they were already created." Was he really sitting here discussing inanimate objects like they were living souls? He thought about his car and carried on.
"So, if they were already made, the molten metal part doesn't make so much sense perhaps. I think it might be the discharging of those phosphorus rounds. Breathing the fire, the joy of the burn. And loathing it? Well, if they were Kindred discharging the guns, I can only guess there would be a certain level of fear or loathing for the fire or heat."
"So Bella, I think you're right about the long periods of darkness. It was most likely when they stored the firearms or transported them. "
Not that that helped much in finding the actual heretics that were doing the killing. He still felt they should set up some sort of ambush...
"Dr. Brady, maybe we should contact Mrs. Scotts to discover if there are any gun manufacturers in the area. I wasn't aware they manufactured such things as these here in California, but it seems she would be the expert on the matter."

She walks back over to the guns and covers them back up. She'd had a good idea, coming here. Now, to see if it would pan out the way she had hoped.
"All right, I can ring her if you all want."

Bella hangs up the phone and turns back to the others. "All right, we are going to the warehouse district. Between what I know, what Dr. Brady knows, and what Miss Scotts knows, we think we figured it out. So, let's roll."
