"However, I am willing to risk it. And it wouldn't take too long. Shall we go get the little bambino and go for a 'real' ride? Or wait until we have finished our business, and save it for playtime?"
He looks back at her just as slyly.

Bella smiles at the sly look, thinking of playtime. She shakes her head a bit and laughs.
"No, we can go get the baby now. Besides, that will give Rahyna a chance to catch up. I told her where we were going back at the Grindhouse, but as I was leaving so quickly, she did not get the chance to catch us before we left."
She looks out the window for a little while, then turns back to Nicolo. "Why didn't you tell me you were an Inquisitor?"

That darkened his mood a bit.
"Perhaps because you didn't ask?" He half grinned, half shrugged. But his eyes were hard and cold and he kept them on the road. "Bella, I didn't choose to come here, I was sent here. And not even here originally." To continue? Or not to continue? He grappled with his thoughts for a moment.
"I came to serve the Church as I'm asked to, not as I prefer to. Such a long story, certainly not a story to ruin such a bella notte." This time the smile reached his eyes.

Nicolo laughed out loud at that.
"Bella, you are very sweet. But if I think like that, I will be ordered from here and probably find myself next in Siberia. Or worse." He did look away from the road now, for a short moment to meet the eyes of the beautiful, thoughtful creature so close to him. "I'm just beginning to like it here now. It's time for me not to jeopardize it."
Eyes back on the road again, "I am trained in sorcery, and the arts of intimidation for the purpose of one thing and one thing only. But your domain already has an excellent Inquisitora, and I would not step on her toes. Other than that? I perform all the Apostolica. I say Mass, hear confession, perform the Anointing and Creation rites. I've even been on Holy Crusade several times. So I'm sure your Bishop will find something to keep me off the streets. Certainly, I know how to sweep floors, if it comes to that..."
He glanced quickly over to the passenger seat to see if she was smiling. Until this moment, he didn't realize how much he actually wanted to stay here. The thought caught him off guard.

Bella laughs, finding the picture of Nicolo sweeping floors to be incredibly amusing.
"Ok, you win. For now. However, I am sure if I backed your decisions here, then the Cardinal will have to take a second look at his reasons for sending you here. Maybe it will even restore his faith in his Inquisitor."
She shrugs and turns back to the window for a few minutes, before looking at him again.
"Your faith seems to be true, if a bit strong. But I think I can show you how to quell that a bit. Most people don't take well to being told they are wrong. You just have to give them your message without telling them their way is the incorrect way."

After bumping into Bella or rather Bella almost running her over in the hallway at the Grindhouse and told her to follow her to Twist's Theater Rahyna walked back across the street to the Museum and got her in her car and started driving if she was lucky she would make it there before Bella had come and gone.

Oh the irony. Most didn't like being told they were wrong? And this little imp of a woman was going to tell his Sire the Cardinal he was wrong, that he should rethink his decision for sending me here.
Sure. Nicolo could definitely see that happening. When hell freezes over.
Still, the Cardinal had berated him for the negative things he'd said about Bella initially. Perhaps he really did respect her.
"There she is." Seeing her in one piece was like reconnecting a part of his body. It made him feel whole. He pulled over to park Bella's car, then looked over at her. "Alright Bella. I'll do the driving. You do the fixing. OK? But just be careful what you say to the Cardinal. I really don't want to end up in Siberia. Less is more, yes?"
His dark eyes bore into hers, but the crooked grin tempered the intensity.

Bella laughs. "Well, if you put in a good performance tonight, then you have yourself a deal."
She opens the door, gets out of the car and locks the doors. Then, she pops the trunk and pulls out a few weapons. Making sure they are secure in their sheaths, she closes the trunk and turns to Nicolo.
"Ok, ready when you are."

Nicolo opened the passenger door for Bella, takes the weapons from her and carefully stows them in the small trunk.
"Seat belt, per favore." And then he dropped it in first and they could feel their bodies forced against the seats as he launched the 430 forward. Such a lovely feeling, he thought. They'd be there in no time.

VBella is clinging to her door by the time they got to the theater. She looks at Nicolo and shakes her head.
"And you say I am an insane driver? At least I attempt to follow the traffic laws!"
Slowly, she opens her door and gets out of the car, her legs a little wobbly from the drive.

Rahyna got out of her car in time to see a speeding into the parking lot she shakes her head as she closes her car door and sees Bella emerge from the car so she walks over to her "Bella can you please explain to me what is going on now that we are here." Rahyna pauses for a moment and realizes she sounds a little rude but hopes Bella will forgive her in the long ride at this point Rahyna just wants to know what is going on.

Bella laughs at Nicolo. "You know, that is a seriously fucked up way of looking at it, but I guess I cannot argue. Maybe you can teach me how to really drive some time?" She gives him another sly smile before turning her attention to Rahyna.
"Yes, Madam Harpy. I can explain it to you. We are here to gather some information on the people who keep leaving us such wonderful foliage problems. Shall we?"
She asks, indicating the door as she pulls it open and motions Rahyna and Nicolo to go ahead of her./

Bella's phone rings and she answers it. Speaking very briefly, she hangs up and turns back to Rahyna with a smile.
"Twist is not going to help us, but the guns she has from Emma's shooting are. Oh and that was Dr. Brady. She is on her way with some more information for us."
Bella leads them to Kalos office and quietly knocks on the door.

Leaving he retrieved the weapons and layed the bundle on the desk. Opening it, he stepped back to allow them access.

He'd certainly never apologize for his strong beliefs in God or the Dark Profit, but as Bella so wisely indicated, he didn't have to point out to everyone else they were wrong.
Turning to Bella he asked "Would you like me to find a map? Perhaps we're looking for a train station? Or a boat harbor? Or does it seem like a smaller bell, like on the door to a warehouse? You know, like Will Call or something? There must be a hundred thousand possibilities – are there any other details you can glean? Concentrate hard!"
