I'm working on breaking down the corporation into a mechanical thing, using the sacrifice of the 5th dot in resources as a launching point for discussion. Sacrificing a resources dot would represent a contribution of that specific amount of money. The difference between 4 and 5 dots of resources is 4.5 million in assets, so that could be added to the "corporate pool", which would need about 200-250 million to build this colossus. That's about 60 donations of the 5th resources dot. The 5th dot represents 5 xp for Invictus members, but 10 xp for non-Invictus, so there's that to consider. I also want this considered as a pool of experience, and will talk about the Haven merit below.
Now, each corporation member would get "into the deal" with their first donation. It just get's their name on the corporate roster. After the first donation, each subsequent donation could be used in one of three ways.
One - purchase of a haven area. This option gives the character rights to the top floors of the building, and can be purchased multiple times. They swear to uphold the privacy and security of their fellow members, and behave accordingly. I want to ask the ST's about connecting this to the haven merit, since that's what we are calling it. The site would convey Haven: Location 5 naturally, being near a shopping mall and hundreds or thousands of Kine at a time. Size 4 or 5 would also come naturally, since Sites 5 (or higher) would be the point of building this thing anyways. Security would come as people donated to the "Havens Pool", and we could use the collective experience to purchase the Haven: Security merit for the site (Site: Security maybe?). We could also bolster this with very nice security systems, armed patrols, etc. But we need to talk to West and Steven about this first. This is the single most contentious point of the whole plan, I believe.
Two - purchase of a commercial space in the mid-tower area. This gives the character rights to a business area (or Sites 3 in book-speak) and they can do what they will with that. This will be the simple end of the project, and not much problems here.
Three - buy a share of the profit engine that is the mall, the lowest levels (aside from parking and all that in the basement). Each sacrifice of a 5th dot would place a dice in the "Profit Roll" that would make money for the corporation each month. This is to represent the tens of thousands of dollars that would be added to each corporation member each month by the shops, etc. in the mall. If we get 15 people to add two dots here, we have 30 dice to roll, each suxx giving the members 10K in assets (or whatever number is found appropriate by the ST's).
Between these three options, I think we have a good ground set for our project.
