Circe had a thought not too long ago. She had protected her body quite well. Jackets, silicon suits, breast plate, Kevlar. She was able to make sure her blue skin wasn't torn up and it HAD protected her from green claws.

But the elfin Summer hadn't done aught to protect another part. Her skull. So why didn't she solve that? Circe had a forge and plenty of scrap metal. She'd just have to make something to keep her skull intact.

Sure she could buy a motorcycle helmet but this save'd money a bit. Plus she'd had another idea for it.

So, Circe stocked up her forge, tossed in the steel and iron bits, and melted them.

The Summer Queen's eyes are blocked by a gout of steam as she cools the helmet. The resulting helmet rather resembled an American GI helmet. Not surprising as Circe had looked that up for the shape. On the left side of the helmet was a brace clip for a flashlight. She'd still need some padding to to brace it in place but that was super glue, tape, and fabric. A chin straps she could just order online. Circe had a LED flashlight already for the light.

She could wear it down the tunnels, figure out adjustments to get it to fit nice after. Field test without battle, boring but practical. Oh, what about her face?

Maybe a welder's mask?
