Ruby nods assent but says nothing. A direct approach would be stupidly bold, but then again there's nothing overly threatening about the behavior of the pair.

Has anyone ever held a dialogue with the enemy? Have we ever spoken to them? Do they have neonates as we do? Are they as zealous in their hatred of us as their masters?

Rosh curses sharply. His effort was so bold, yet it failed.

The Obrimos spits int eh gournd and studies the Mane construct holding the Ley. How strong is this working compared to his effort to force it apart?

From what Rosh can determine, the fixed lines' spell's Potency is easily in the double digits (Think 20+). Breaking it apart would require either a lot of luck, even in a ritual, or cooperation from a lot of mages. Apparently the lines (allegedly) anchored in place with Soul Stones aren't going anywhere easily. At least, not for very long.

    I'll narrate the intruders tomorrow

Anyone still wanting to Scrutiny can assume they got in a single roll before this post. Keep in mind you'll need Mage Sight up, though.

The pair walk, roughly towards the Awakened. As they step close enough to be seen clearly, they continue speaking to one another. The girl, apparently in response to whatever the man said earlier, states, "-st saying, I'd feel much better if we didn't have to backtrack to get to the bridge. The straighter a line we have to take get there, the-"

The young man interrupts her, "Don't be such a chicken, we'll be i..." Whatever else he might want to say, he cuts off, and holds up a hand for the girl to stop as well. His eyes go over Ruby, then Aurum, then Abeoona (Rosh seemingly being out of sight behind the ladies). Then back to Aurum, where they stay for a few moments. From this distance, even in the near-absent light, what he's carrying looks to be a large flashlight, the kind you could get on the cheap.

"I didn't expect to find anyone out here tonight," he says, with a hint of surprise and just a bit of wariness. He takes a half-step forward, apparently intent on standing between the girl and the Mages. She keeps quiet, some sort of silent cue having been exchanged. Or maybe she's just shy of talking to random people in parks at night.

Aurum watched the intruders as they approached focusing on them and studying them. She wasn't sure what business they had in the area and how it would effect them. The goth also didn't knew that they might not be what they appeared given their kinds ability to change shape and so she focused her sight on them and studied their patterns for any clues that might give her information about them.

"Ruby!" Rosh yelps as he realizes what he's in for dealing with the Ley. Finding himself mostly alone, he spins round to find the ladies all staring off into the darkness. "Ladies. Is something.." Rosh jogs himself to see what the other see, hs voice trailing away finding A man and woman. None of the woman had acted yet, what did that mean?
Sleepers would have been easy to turn away.
But assumptions were never good. What to do?

"Good evening. Nice weather right?" Rosh considered some lines to break the ice. These two could be Pentacle.

    They could also be Seers.

Or far worse, they were bumbling Sleepers. There was no way to be certain without looking insane/offensive.
Maybe Rosh should have paid more attention?

"You guys interested in the anomaly too?"
Rosh resisted glancing to Ruby, instead looking up at the sky. "Web said Venus and Neptune were aligning tonight." Hardly true, humorously so, hopefully these two thought so.
If they believed him, they were likely Sleepers.

This is what she gets for leaving academia. Ruby almost wants to laugh it hurts so bad. Lives as stake and folks are behaving with all the discretion of a bullfrog on a lawn chair. Those poor two kids. If they know too much, they can't be allowed to leave. Lord, they'll have to be delivered to the Sentinel.

"Oh please. Of course they are, he's lit up like a Christmas tree. What if they were Seers?" Ruby asks with disappointment, pointing to the Seers. "I'm terribly sorry about this, kids. We've had a necromancer active in the area, and people have been gettin' hurt. We're helpin' the higher ups to keep regular folk safe by surveyin' the site for a Ban." Ruby doesn't blame Rosh, after all, this kind of catastrophic blundering seems to be his nature. But she sure as Sunday isn't going to let him do as much damage as he seems intent to.

"Maybe this is a dumb question to ask, but would you be willin' to help us out?" Ruby asks the strangers tentatively. "Somethin's wrong with a major ley line, and I'm scair'd SOMEONE," Ruby glares at Rosh, "knocked it loose."

    Rosh shrugs.
You get what you paid for. "It will snap off or ween shut. My tie wasn;t meant to hold mr then an hour in any event."

Rosh looks back up at the sky. "I am can be called Rosh, The others can introduce themselves as they wish. Who are you and what do you represent?" Rosh drops his current spell work and offers a hand in greeting toward the gentlmen.

Ruby stands dumbfounded by the incoherence of what Rosh has said. She's almost certain she should be angry, but she hit a segfault somewhere in his second sentence. Critical error.

    "What?"
