Heathcliff ushers the woman out of his office, then knocks on Miss Maskelyne's door. Professional courtesy, not worry about meeting his colleagues face to mask. Anyone of them could be the culprit. It hid the maelstrom of his emotions behind a blank exterior upon which the perpetrator could project his own fear, insecurity, anxiety, and Heathcliff would be watching everyone carefully...

Charlie felt his phone vibrate and quickly checked in. Seeing it was Staley he fired a text back and then pocketed his phone as he sat down. "My apologies, it appears the Senechal will be joining us as he's also interested in where I've been. I figure we'll wait for him to come and I'll tell everone. I'm well now thank you, but let's just say I've had a bad night at the park a while back." he says with a moderate sarcastic tone.
He hears the knock on the door and looks back. "Looks like that's him now. Shall I let him in?" he asks unfolding his legs to get up from his seat.
Jillian just nods and smiles as she follows the masked Seneschal

*Ciara nods.* Yes, please show them in, Pricus. *She bows her head slightly to the Senechal as he comes into view.* Good evening Senechal. And Madam... *Ciara raises an eyebrow at the young lady accompanying Staley, having never met her before.*
"No madam here, names Jillian Malloy, clan Gangrel. Pleasure to meet ya Keeper Maskalyne." Jillian said extending her hand to the European Ventrue.

Heathcliff can no longer raise a questioning eyebrow at Jillian. He looks blankly at her, his wet voice cold and damp. "Beg pardon, Keeper," says the masked face, "I did not tell you to follow me, Jillian Malloy. I told you I would inform him of your presence so you could speak after our meeting. Leave us." Once she has, Heathcliff takes a seat and looks at Barrett. "Your people are incorrigible in your absence, Priscus. I do look forward to hearing why you've been gone," he says, folding his hands in his lap.
Jillian leaves the office.

When the Senechal shooes Jillian away and then makes the comment about his clans' constant flightly nature he cringes inside. Thanks for ruining it for us Ayla.
Nodding to the Seneschal he says "My apologies Senechal for my absence however I've been in torpor for months and was only recently woken from torpor with the help of Jillian Malloy and Joseph Hartman who found my body in a dumpster during a Venery hunt. I do not know how I ended up there but I know perhaps what led me to my unconscious state. Soon after my becoming Priscus for the Gangrel Max Heinz had asked to meet with me. I chose Granite Park as it was an area the Gangrel had used to meet in the past. We had spoken briefly and then were about to leave when someone threw a flashbang in our direction. It blinded me before I could react and the next thing I knew, I felt something biting at me and trying to eat me. I don't know how many there were but enough to prevent me from breaking free. The next thing I knew I was out and then I woke up in the haven of Mr. Hartman's shortly after."
Not really a lot to tell them but hey it's hard to know shit when you're blind and being eaten.
"So that will explain my absence over the past few montsh, I apologize as I know Jillian had been trying to contact me and I can imagine that was a burden on you Senechal. Rest assured I am back now and am intend on finding out the source of what it was that attacked myself and Mr. Heinz as well as leading the Gangrel properly in this city."
What sucks is I know in kine society it would be a valid excuse but for kindred..not so much.
